Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some big returns are on the way. The latest comings and goings news says some fun comebacks will shake things up. Eileen Davidson has been doing a great job as the nutty and hilarious Susan Banks. However, Davidson has many characters in her repertoire and we’ll see a couple more of them before her stint wraps up.
Davidson will reprise her roles as Sister Mary Moira and Kristen DiMera on next week’s new Days episodes, November 20-22. They’ll have some scenes before Davidson bids Days farewell once again. DOOL viewers will hate to see her go, but it’s nice that she could come visit. Davidson and her fantastic characters are always welcome.
In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Davidson talked about the wild ride. “It was short and jam-packed, fast and furious,” Davidson said. She thanked Days fans for “…still embracing the craziness of Susan, her sister and Kirsten.” Davidson added that she hoped everyone was entertained and we certainly were!
John Enos will also conclude his run as Roger Fisher (aka “Elvis”) next week. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Roger will face intense pressure from John (Drake Hogestyn). He’ll eventually decide it’s wrong to keep Will in the dark about Susan’s actions. Will was going to find out the truth anyway, so Roger will confess that Susan manipulated him. He’ll try to help Will understand Susan’s perspective.
Days of Our Lives watchers are thrilled to have Chandler Massey back, but you might be wondering what Guy Wilson is up to. Wilson was actually the last actor to play Will, but DOOL decided Massey was their best option. He’s an Emmy winner and the most beloved version of the character, so that makes sense.
Nevertheless, you can still catch Wilson in an upcoming Code Black arc. This primetime medical drama is gearing up for its third season on CBS. Wilson will play the boyfriend of another character, so it should be interesting to see what he’ll be doing on screen.
Another Days alum has scored a primetime gig over on ABC. You might remember Eric Winter, who played Rex Brady from 2002-2006. Winter is headed to The Good Doctor as Dr. Matt Coyle. He’ll play a handsome and charismatic character who stirs up a bit of trouble.
That’s it for comings and goings, casting news and former DOOL star updates. We’ll keep you posted as other details emerge. Stay tuned to the NBC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news.
