The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers documented the dramatic lead-ins to Thanksgiving week 2017. Now that it’s arrived, various B&B characters are surely counting their blessings.
Liam (Scott Clifton) has two major events to be thankful for. First, his dad and wife saved his life after he was trapped under the fallen Spectra Fashions’ building. Second, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) forgave him for kissing Sally (Courtney Hope) during the referenced disaster.
Bill’s (Don Diamont) son Liam did have his heart in the right place. He was trying to protect someone who was vulnerable. But, as Liam recently admitted, he got carried away with other people’s problems, which then put his life and marriage in jeopardy.
As for Steffy, she made a major mistake by allowing herself to fall under Bill’s spell. Mrs. Liam Spencer should be thankful that upon awaking, she instantly realized the terrible choice she made and ran back to her husband. Now Steffy needs to hope that what happened with her father-in-law stays as buried as Sally’s dreams on that prime property in downtown Los Angeles. Of course Sally learns of Steffy’s cheating and we know disaster will follow.
Eric (John McCook) is deeply thankful that Quinn (Rena Sofer) possessed the power to stand up to Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Few women, other than Lauren (Tracey Bregman), can claim to have bested that psychopathic criminal.
By exposing Sheila’s duplicity, Quinn shed light on the hypocritical redemption claims that Brown’s character had made. The still-reigning Mrs. Forrester also saved Eric from having his life descend into further chaos.
Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Katie (Heather Tom) can be thankful that they found each other and haven’t been afraid to express their newfound love. They make a great couple, as their obvious chemistry shows.
On the lighter side, B&B fans have been treated to comic relief as Wyatt and Katie has enabled many fun scenes. Most recently, the pizza delivery man role play was nothing short of a laugh riot.
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is thankful that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) gained perspective and left Bill. While Brooke’s romantic future is questionable, at least Ridge appears to have a better chance at potentially reconnecting with the woman he still loves. Sadly for Ridge, Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher) is on the way and he will present major challenges for Ridge on both the business and romance fronts.
Speaking of Bill, again, it must be said that all business obstacles appear to have been cleared. Yes, the stage has been set for Sky to rise.
Bill had to endure a very painful fight with Liam and lost Brooke through what became an ordeal. But the legacy edifice that will bear the Spencer name can now be constructed. It might also become possible for Bill to reclaim the semblance of a more stable personal life over time as well.
