General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) big day is coming up. These two are on cloud nine, so it’s definitely time for them to tie the knot. Everyone loves a happy couple on the ABC soap.
Laura and Kevin can expect a special guest or two at the special ceremony. Their friends and family members should enjoy watching them exchange vows and begin the rest of their lives together. Laura’s mom, Lesley (Denise Alexander) will be in attendance, so it should be great to see her again.
Of course, no GH wedding would be complete without a good dose of drama. The future is bright for Kevin and Laura, but they have to get through whatever wedding mayhem awaits first. Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) nuptials certainly came with a few hiccups. The pre-wedding festivities included a sudden fire and a shocking arrest!
Fortunately, everything was pretty comical and it all worked out for the duo. There’s a good chance that’ll be the end result for Laura and Kevin as well. Even if the wedding gets derailed, they’ll surely find a way to make this happen sooner or later. Still, there’s bound to be a stunning delay.
Some sites out there are speculating that a Nikolas Cassadine recast might appear. That doesn’t make much sense at this point. Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) isn’t set to return until summer of 2018, so General Hospital probably wouldn’t want to bring Nikolas back just yet. It’d be a shame for Nikolas to be around without a chance to reunite with his son onscreen. They need an opportunity to reconnect!
Plus, the current storylines are more focused on Jason (Steve Burton), Drew (Billy Miller) and the mysterious mastermind. It’s tough to come up with a logical reason for Nikolas to show up out of the blue. If there’s going to be a wedding crasher, Faison (Anders Hove) or another sinister suspect might be a better fit. It could be a case of this wedding being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
