The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will try to put some fear in Abby (Melissa Ordway) on this week’s new episodes, December 18-22. She won’t mention what she knows or how she knows it, but she’ll insist that Abby had better listen up. Mariah will warn that Abby needs to steer clear of Scott (Daniel Hall) or there are going to be consequences.
Some past sins will come up during this tense conversation. Mariah will allude to when Abby slept with Summer’s (Hunter King) husband, Austin (Matthew Atkinson). She’ll contend that Abby would be wise to choose a different path this time. Abby will be on edge as she wonders how much Mariah’s in the loop on. She’ll do her best to play it cool, but she’ll definitely have concerns.
Unfortunately, another kiss is on the way for Scott and Abby this week. They could be sealing their fate. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that the cheating could escalate from there. If Mariah finds out it’s still going on, she may have no choice but to tell Sharon (Sharon Case).
Then again, Mariah could always force Scott to confess this himself. One way or another, Sharon will eventually learn the truth. It’s safe to say she’s going to be absolutely devastated. Scott told Sharon he loved her truly and forever. She’ll feel stupid for believing that when Scott was busy chasing after Abby.
Scott will beg for Sharon’s forgiveness, but she’ll be reluctant to give it. Sharon has been hurt too many times to just let something like this go. If Scott wants another chance, he’ll have to really work at it.
Y&R spoilers hint that once everything blows up, Scott will indeed realize what he’s lost. He’ll hate that he threw it all away over his physical attraction to Abby. Scott has something real and meaningful with Sharon, so he’ll be crushed when their connection is shattered.
The Young and the Restless might let Scott and Sharon patch things up eventually. Many “Shick” fans are hoping Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon will reunite down the road and Sharon Case has alluded to this in interviews – but we may have to wait on an Adam recast. Nick and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) are still going strong, so Y&R might think they’re the best options for each other until Adam returns.
