The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will be on a mission in the new year. Her resolution will be quite simple. Tessa will want to patch things up with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and hopefully get their friendship back on track.
Unfortunately, Mariah will have a different resolution in mind and it could make Tessa’s goal even harder to achieve. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will spend some time reflecting. She’ll consider how everything played out with Tessa and try to find a way to deal with the pain.
Mariah has always been unlucky in love, so she’s starting to think she’s the problem. As a result, Mariah will focus on herself for a while and try to determine who she really is. She truly poured her heart out to Tessa, but she got shot down. It’ll be tough for Mariah to open herself up like that ever again.
Nevertheless, Mariah will understand that she can’t just play the part of a doting girlfriend. That certainly didn’t work out with Devon (Bryton James). Going through the motions can’t create a love story, so Mariah will need to dig deep. She can’t let one rejection completely break her. Mariah will have to learn how to open up to potential lovers when the time is right.
In the meantime, it’ll be Tessa’s turn to get rejected. Mariah will do her best to keep Tessa at a distance while she heals. Will that lead to any changes for Tessa? The thought of losing Mariah forever might be enough to spark something.
If Tessa and Noah’s (Robert Adamson) relationship falls apart, that could also affect the situation. The Young and the Restless spoilers say a lot can and will happen in 2018! Viewers won’t want to miss everything that’s in store.
It seems Mariah will be prepared to make changes of her own. Is it time for Y&R to give her a new love interest? Mariah told Sharon (Sharon Case) she wasn’t attracted to women in general. Tessa’s the only female who captured her heart. Maybe Mariah will shift gears and get together with a single hunk. Ravi (Abhi Sinha) or a Kyle recast might be interesting choices.
If Mariah falls hard for someone else, it could fill Tessa with regret. Would she be envious enough to make a move? Will Y&R use this as a way to repair Tessa and Mariah’s friendship instead?
