General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s some comings and goings news to pass along. When a comatose Cassandra (Jessica Tuck) was taken into WSB custody, it marked the end of Tuck’s stint. Some GH fans were enjoying Cassandra’s sassiness and others thought the exit was long overdue. Regardless of which camp you’re in, that’s a wrap for Cassandra – at least for now.
It seems significant that they left Cassandra in a coma. The doctors don’t have high hopes for her recovery, but that would just make it even more surprising if Cassandra returned for vengeance one day. General Hospital obviously won’t be needing her anytime soon, but you never know what might happen down the road. They must’ve left Cassandra alive with a potential revenge trip in mind.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Tuck commented on her exit as well as her comeback chances. “Lapsing into a coma, really, it’s very unfortunate,” Tuck said. “I can hang on to the hope that she’s not dead as a doorknob.” Tuck added that Cassandra was “wicked and awful.” She joked that maybe a frontal lobotomy could make Cassandra forget she was so evil!
It sounds like Tuck approved of her dramatic final bow. “They really did bring it to a crescendo in a really fun way,” Tuck enthused. She noted that if GH ever needs a fierce baddie again, she’s only a phone call away. Tuck insisted that if asked, she would “totally come back to visit.”
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Cassandra’s right-hand man, Erich (Darren Dupree Washington), is also done in Port Charles. When a villain heads out, the sidekick’s gotta go, too! Those are just the rules.
Now GH is ready to move on and hopefully devote more airtime to the traitor mystery. Of course, there could be other big plans behind the scenes. An SOD blind item says one soap plans to bring back a presumed dead character. Could a Morgan recast be in the works? Bryan Craig is busy pursuing other projects, so maybe it’s time to fill his shoes with someone new.
It’d be nice if Morgan could share some scenes with Jason (Steve Burton). Morgan’s return from the dead would definitely shake things up.
