General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is about to face her worst fears as Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) is in Port Charles this week, January 22-26, and terrorizes her. Liesl, who has always loved Faison, is about to face him for her huge betrayal – and there is more to come!
GH fans know that Dr. O has always been cool under pressure, even Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) was quick to comment that it wasn’t like her to show up drunk. Could it be her guilty conscience showing itself, or is she finally cracking under the pressure?
The revelation that she had a son, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) with Faison, that she kept hidden from him all these years. Dr. Obrecht bitterly stated that since Nathan wasn’t Anna’s son, Faison would never accept him. That would be enough to rattle her, but there has to be more because Dr. O was so angry and anxious when she turned to Anna, right?
General Hospital fans recall that Liesl spoke about Heinrich, Faison’s son that he quickly sent off to boarding school – a son he never wanted a relationship with, a son that eventually betrayed him. GH spoilers have shown hints and clues that this Heinrich is Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and more and more, Anna is acting very protective of this “son.”
Savvy General Hospital fans noticed how she did not want Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to use Heinrich as a pawn to draw Faison out, and she immediately offered to use herself? It seemed like a very motherly thing to do!
We know that Dr. O told Anna that Faison rejected the son as a young child, merely providing for his care but not offering fatherly love and upbringing. We also know that Dr. Obrecht was regarded as a mad scientist – GH buzz suggests that Liesl tampered with the paternity DNA test when Anna had the baby years ago, ensuring that Faison never knew that Peter was HIS SON!
Faison reasoned that since the tampered test didn’t show that he was the father, the dad was Robert Scorpio who was Anna’s husband at that time. After Anna and Robert’s honeymoon she was kidnapped by Faison so although GH buzz is that he tried to impregnate her, without a paternity test he couldn’t be sure if he was the dad. Dr. O, madly in love and obsessed with Faison, couldn’t bear the thought of allowing him to know Anna had bore him a child.
GH buzz suggests that Heinrich aka Peter is Anna and Faison’s son. Long-time fans remember Anna had amnesia and was presumed dead for a number of years after a boat explosion in February 1992 caused by Faison himself.
Anna could have easily been pregnant, had a baby and not be able to remember all the details on a conscious level, yet still have a subliminal urge to protect the son she doesn’t consciously know she has. Anna’s memories and feelings are starting to resurface now and this will reach a climax when she meets Peter. How do you think Faison is going to react when he learns that Dr. O denied him the one thing he desired more than life itself – knowledge that Anna’s son was his.
