Celebrity Big Brother US: Official CBBUS Cast List Revealed

Celebrity Big Brother US spoilers indicate that the official CBBUS cast list has been revealed. It is the first celebrity season in the US of the long running reality television competition series. When host Julie Chen promised that there would be plenty of stars, actors, and athletes on the show, she wasn’t kidding.

One of the biggest surprises and biggest names is former Apprentice star and President Trump adviser Omarosa Manigault. She left The White House in dramatic fashion late last year and has joined the Big Brother house now.

The cast lineup also includes former Sugar Ray front man Mark McGrath, actresses Shannon Elizabeth and Marissa Jaret Winkour, actor James Maslow, and Keshia Knight Pulliam of The Cosby Show fame. As far as athletes go, both NBA star Metta World Peace and UFC lightweight champ Chuck Liddell will be on the show. Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and comedian and television personality Ross Matthews round out the cast.

Interestingly enough Brandi Glanville of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is also going to be on the show despite previous reports that said CBS wanted to ban all Real Housewives or former reality television contestants from joining this season. This isn’t Brandi’s first time in a Big Brother house. The Bravo star also participated in the Celebrity Big Brother House in the UK during the summer of 2017.

Previous reports had indicated that CBS producers were also looking to cast YouTube and social media stars, brand influencers and “everything in between,” but sadly that hasn’t happened. YouTube transgender star Gigi Gorgeous was hotly tipped to be joining CBBUS, but instead CBS execs went with better known actors and actresses from the 1990s.

Viewers will be able to tune in to CBBUS live feeds 24 hours a day. This season will be a condensed one compared to previous seasons. Instead of 18 houseguests there are only 11. Also, the season will only be airing for 18 days and will air during the same time as the Winter Olympics on rival network NBC.

Celebrity Big Brother US is set to kick off Wednesday, February 7 at 8pm EST on the CBS network. In the meantime, don’t forget to check back with CDL for all the latest news, updates and spoilers on Celebrity Big Brother US and all of your favorite primetime television shows right here.
