General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, February 9, tease that it’ll be a gloomy day in Port Charles. This special episode will feature Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) funeral and his grieving loved ones. We’ll see some tough goodbyes and tearful tributes in these emotional scenes. GH viewers will want to tune in for this moving farewell.
The PCPD will follow all the typical traditions on Friday. General Hospital spoilers say Nathan’s fellow officers will don their dress uniforms. They’ll gather to celebrate Nathan’s memory and mourn the loss. It won’t be easy, especially for those who knew Nathan well. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will get particularly choked up as he deals with all this.
Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) will face an incredibly difficult task in this episode. She’ll do an end of watch call to acknowledge Nathan’s death, so that’s sure to be heartbreaking. There’ll also be a final salute to Nathan. As the shots are fired, those closest to Nathan will reflect on what a great man he was.
A flag will be draped across Nathan’s casket and it’ll be time for some speeches. General Hospital spoilers state that Nina (Michelle Stafford) will deliver a touching one. She’ll stand up to say a few words about her wonderful brother.
Nina will highlight Nathan’s generosity, but she’ll add that it’s just a sliver of who he was. Nathan was kind, loyal and so full of joy. His life was snatched away far too soon, but this funeral is the first step toward accepting that and letting go.
Nevertheless, it’ll be hard for Maxie (Kristen Storms), Nina and Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to get through this. General Hospital spoilers say Franco (Roger Howarth) will give Dr. O some support. He’ll want her to know she has a friend during this this crisis.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will be just as supportive to Nina, but he’ll continue to keep big secrets. After his chat with Anna (Finola Hughes) on Thursday, Valentin placed a call to Peter (Wes Ramsey). He suggested it would be a mistake to leave town.
Peter will grow increasingly curious in Friday’s episode, so this might involve Anna. Valentin told Anna she had a daughter and not a son, but that was probably a lie to stop all the digging. It looks like this storyline is heading in an interesting direction, so stay tuned.
Finally, let’s talk about Maxie. She’ll share some painful moments alone with Nathan’s casket. Maxie won’t know how to say goodbye, but she’ll have to try. She’ll tell Nathan that she loves him and she always will.
