The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will continue to build bridges (yes, pun intended) to Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) and support Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). However, Bill (Don Diamont) remains in Marone’s cross hairs, which will prove dangerous and could be deadly. As CDL reported, Bill will be heading off-screen soon since Diamont is scheduled to compete on the coming season of DWTS Italy. B&B spoilers say that revenge against Bill goes to far and he winds up in hospital!
B&B offered a special treat to longtime viewers by having the great Susan Flannery (Stephanie) reprise her famous role. The show honored the terrific actor and the memory of her character in a unique way.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) heard Stephanie speak to her during a vision sequence on her wedding day. Mrs. Bridge told her again-husband that Flannery’s character spoke to her through Stephanie’s portrait that was hung above the Forrester mansion mantel for their wedding. Ridge nodded his head to appease his bride in response.
Ridge’s nuptials put him in a good mood. So much so that he voluntarily revisited Thorne’s desire to design for the family company. Ridge spoke with Hope (Annika Noelle) about reviving her Hope for the Future line, which blends charitable causes with fashion.
Thorne was then asked if he wanted to be Hope’s designer. He was impressed that his brother made the offer and quickly agreed.
It will be interesting to see what so-called causes Hope for the Future pursues, as that winks at a subtle way of injecting B&B TPTB’s personal ideologies into the storyline. All savvy soap fans know the subjective selection of topical issues is a hallmark of daytime. The choices are well-considered and meant to promote whatever is deemed helpful to current trends.
Meanwhile, Steffy continues to wait for Liam (Scott Clifton) to come around. Her patience will eventually end if her husband isn’t able to forgive what she willingly did with Bill.
Ridge will again console his daughter this week. He’s done right by her, being fully supportive in a situation where Steffy’s free will actions were equally as wrong as Bill’s. Not less, not more.
Following soapy history, this scribe now offers that it was honest of B&B to have Steffy swat down Ridge’s hysterical assertion that Bill had committed an assault crime. Reckless individuals and mob mentality convict others in the court of public opinion based purely on claims, which violates democratic due process.
Bill is not a good person. However, he did not and never will deserve being charged with any assault crime against Steffy, since their infamous interaction was fully consensual.
Ridge has chosen to believe in his own truth. That new age terminology was purposely used because it purposely opposes logic and is actually old-fashioned. Self-centeredness packaged as personal empowerment was and remains a ruse.
Steffy rejected her father’s prod, which reflects well on her character. But Bill better hope that Ridge doesn’t believe that he’s also judge, jury and executioner because vigilante justice is legally and morally wrong.
