Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Steve (Stephen Nichols) still has a tough battle ahead of him. When Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) showed him his chart, Steve’s vision remained blurry. The antidote’s been working for the most part, but it’s not improving Steve’s eyesight.
John (Drake Hogestyn) hoped that he took care of all this in time and for a moment, it looked like everything was going to be OK. Alas, more tests will reveal trouble. It turns out the poison resulted in severe damage to Steve’s cornea. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve’s at risk of going completely blind.
Kayla will be the one to break the bad news. She’ll let Steve know what he’s facing and they’ll tackle the crisis together. This is sure to be a difficult situation. Of course, John will get updates on the lingering effects of his plot. He’ll be crushed when he realizes he caused his friend’s looming blindness.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say John’s guilt will really rev up. He’ll break down in tears during a tough conversation with Marlena (Deidre Hall). John won’t know what he’ll do if Steve can never see his beautiful family again. He’ll wish he could take away his pal’s suffering.
Marlena will do her best to comfort John. She’ll point out that he didn’t mean for this to happen. DOOL fans know that Pamela Van Damme (Martha Hackett) put John in an impossible position. Now everyone’s dealing with the consequences.
Kayla was already furious with John for how he handled the dilemma. She’ll really hit the roof when she learns Steve won’t make a full recovery. Days viewers can probably expect a fierce outburst soon enough.
Kayla will inevitably rip into John and he’ll absolutely deserve it. Despite Pamela’s cruel demands, a good partner would’ve found another way to get Steve out of this jam. Bo (Peter Reckell) certainly would’ve come up with a different solution. Just saying!
Nevertheless, maybe John can redeem himself in the end. Will he track down the best and brightest specialist to restore Steve’s vision? Will John manage to make this right?
