The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam (Scott Clifton) will continue to be caught in a mess. He’s currently with Hope (Annika Noelle), but that’s only because Bill (Don Diamont) deceived him. Of course, Liam has always been one to bolt when things get tough. He’s not a big fan of sticking with one woman for too long.
Bill feels like he’s the real man Steffy needs, but is that true? Scott Clifton recently weighed in via Twitter. He had some interesting thoughts on who Steffy should end up with. Clifton kicked things off by quoting a tweet about Liam’s view on love. It suggested that Liam doesn’t truly know what that is. Liam likes the idea of love and commitment, but he can’t move past his childlike interpretation.
“Agreed,” Clifton said. “This is how I (as the actor) have to justify many of his choices.” Some Bold and the Beautiful fans sent tweets asking for more details. One B&B viewer wondered if Bill was right about Liam being a boy and Steffy needing a man. Clifton decided to tackle that topic and clear up his perspective.
“Bill may be right, but not in the way he thinks he is,” Clifton explained. “Bill and Liam both have childish qualities. Liam is naive, fickle and lacks dignity; Bill is selfish, obstinate and lacks integrity.” It’s clear that Liam and Bill both have serious flaws. With that in mind, which one does Steffy actually belong with? Neither Spencer – at least according to Clifton!
“If a ‘man’ is what Steffy needs, she should ditch them both,” Clifton declared. Steffy indeed needs someone mature and devoted to her. Liam can’t seem to handle that devotion since he’s always sniffing around other women. Before Hope returned, Sally (Courtney Hope) was pulling him closer.
As for pathetic Bill, wasn’t he just saying all these lines to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) not too long ago? Now Bill suddenly feels like Steffy’s his soul mate instead. It seems the Spencer men all have short attention spans when it comes to women.
Steffy has made her fair share of mistakes, including a one-night stand with her father-in-law. However, Liam and Bill both set that hookup in motion. Does Steffy deserve better than these two? Would you like to see her get a new love interest?
