The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 9, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will reel over Dina’s (Marla Adams) onscreen confession. He’ll order a replay of the last clip and once again hear he’s not John’s (Jerry Douglas) son. A heartbroken Jack will head over to the athletic club bar. He’ll drown his sorrows, but Billy (Jason Thompson) will come along to offer a pep talk.
When Billy insists that DNA doesn’t matter, Jack will recall making a similar speech to Ashley (Eileen Davidson). However, that won’t do much to ease his pain. Jack will indicate that someone deliberately set out to hurt him with that clip. Y&R spoilers say Victor (Eric Braeden) will eventually appear. He’ll pretend to feel sorry for his enemy, which will only get Jack riled.
Billy will realize this could get ugly, so he’ll take Jack home. Before they arrive, the rest of the Abbott clan will discuss the latest drama. Kyle (Michael Mealor) will feel like he deserves some sympathy as well, but Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Ashley won’t think it’s quite the same. They’ll suggest that Jack’s suffering the most here.
Kyle will get agitated about the Abbotts’ treatment of him. He’ll think they view him as an outsider, so expect a heated family argument. Once Billy and Jack walk in, Ashley and Abby will make an admission. They’ll confess that they’ve known for a while and add that they confirmed Dina’s claims with a DNA test.
Jack will be upset that they kept him out of the loop, but Abby and Ashley just hated to see him get hurt. They’ll insist they hoped they were wrong somehow. In the midst of all this, Dina (Marla Adams) will remain oblivious. She won’t understand why the screening stopped, so Traci (Beth Maitland) will just keep her away from all the Abbott mayhem.
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Dina will ultimately rejoin the group. She’ll scold Jack and the others for talking about her behind her back. Dina will note that John taught them to be honest and respectful. Jack will finally be pushed to his limit so he’ll tell his mother to shut up. He’ll even correct Dina when she starts referring to him as John.
After Traci leads Dina out, Ashley will defend Dina somewhat. Their mother’s just elderly and confused. Dina’s made mistakes in the past, but she isn’t intentionally trying to cause trouble right now. Jack will maintain that John’s the only parent to acknowledge. He’ll contend that he’s not going to let Dina ruin everything for him.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) will battle guilt. He’ll assure Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) that he had nothing to do with the final clip. Nevertheless, Charlie will wish he could’ve prevented this somehow.
Cane will eventually show up at the Abbott mansion to demand answers. He’ll mention that Charlie’s upset about the added footage. Cane will want to know how this happened and he’ll warn that Charlie had better not be blamed.
