Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Abigail (Marci Miller) and Gabi (Camila Banus) are going to be busy soon. Abigail just discovered that she’s pregnant and she fears that she could be carrying Stefan’s (Tyler Christopher) baby. Of course, the possibility of the baby not being Chad’s (Billy Flynn) is horrifying for Abigail, and Abigail knows that it would be equally horrifying for Chad.
That’s why Gabi suggested that Abigail keep the pregnancy a secret for now. Why put Chad through all the “who’s the daddy” worry when it’s not really necessary? It would be much easier on everybody if Abigail figured out who the father was first, then told Chad about the pregnancy. Plus, they wouldn’t have to deal with Stefan breathing down their necks and wondering if he’s the father.
This is quite the plan, and is going to take some real determination, not to mention DNA theft! Days spoilers say that Abigail and Gabi will plot to get DNA from both Chad and Stefan. Paternity tests often involve collecting blood or a cheek swab from each potential father, but perhaps in Salem it can be done with a hair sample.
No matter how Abigail and Gabi plan to get the DNA, it’s going to be tricky to get samples from Stefan and Chad without them knowing. Stefan in particular will be difficult, but maybe Gabi can get access to the DiMera mansion (and to Stefan’s personal things) now that she’s back at GabiChic.
Once Abigail and Gabi get the DNA, they’ll need to actually have a paternity test run, which could prove to be difficult without Stefan or Chad finding out about it. Perhaps Abigail will have her Aunt Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) secretly run the test. Kayla hates what Stefan did to Abigail, so she may understand why Abigail wants the test run on the sly.
