The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will face more struggles. Their relationship is quickly heading into shaky territory and things are only going to get worse from here. Ridge is convinced that Steffy belongs with Liam (Scott Clifton), not Bill (Don Diamont). He’d do just about anything to make a “Steam” reunion happen.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), on the other hand, is all about pushing the “Lope” agenda. She just wants Hope (Annika Noelle) to have a happy family with her “baby daddy.” Of course, no one can blame Brooke and Ridge for siding with their own daughters. As protective parents, they only want what’s best for their kids.
However, Ridge and Brooke might be going a bit overboard. They could stand to step back and let all the love interests involved work this out themselves. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Thorsten Kaye dished on Ridge’s outlook and what it could lead to. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that there’s going to be trouble.
“Steffy knows she screwed up with Bill, but she has taken responsibility for that,” Kaye said. “Now, Liam must, too, for putting his tongue where it doesn’t belong, and keep his hands off other ladies, which, of course, sounds strange coming from Ridge.”
B&B fans will recall that Ridge couldn’t stay away from Quinn (Rena Sofer) during one of his many engagements to Brooke. That may even be clouding his view right now. Brooke took Ridge back eventually, so he may feel like it should be that simple for everyone. Betrayals are nothing that can’t be overcome in his eyes.
Nevertheless, Steffy’s situation is different at the moment. Her newborn daughter is part of the reason why. If Liam can’t settle down when he’s got a baby at home, Steffy just doesn’t see this working out. No matter how hard Ridge tries, he just won’t be able to alter Steffy’s stance. She’s marrying Bill and that’s that.
Brooke’s veiled gloating is sure to make matters worse for “Bridge.” The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say they’ll battle major hostility over the next couple weeks. Kaye warned viewers to be prepared for anything. “Brooke and Ridge are trying to do what they can to be supportive of their kids, but things between them may start to spin out of control,” Kaye said.
