The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have some exciting news to pass on about a new gig for a popular B&B star. Courtney Hope, who portrays Sally Spectra on the CBS soap, will portray the lead character in an interactive video game called “Control” produced by Remedy Entertainment.
Courtney portrays a character named Jesse Faden in the action-adventure game. Jesse is a young woman who seeks answers after a traumatic childhood experience gives her unexplained supernatural powers. She looks for answers from the Federal Bureau of Control, a government agency that studies and contains supernatural phenomena. But in a strange turn of events, she becomes director of the Federal Bureau of Control and must battle evil forces in addition to finding the answers she seeks.
Of special note, “Control” is Remedy Entertainment’s first game with a woman in the lead role. Of the role, Courtney states: “I’m very honored to be the one they chose for this new and exciting experience and journey. I just want to do justice to what that means, to have a female lead and be the hero. To have the strength and ability, but also to show her vulnerability. It’s important to encapsulate all of that.”
This is not Courtney’s first major role in a video game. She also portrayed Beth Wilder in the video game and TV series “Quantum Break” and has appeared in “Star Wars: The Old Republic – Knights of the Eternal Throne.” Courtney has also appeared in guest roles in a host of TV series, including Bones, NCIS, and Criminal Minds.
“Control” is set for release in 2019. Are you excited to see Courtney Hope in her new lead role? Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, updates, and news.
