Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami (Alison Sweeney) will anxiously await DNA test results. She’s eager to find out if the mystery patient is her beloved EJ (last played by James Scott). Since this man is badly burned, he’s covered in bandages. Of course, Sami wouldn’t be able to tell much about his face anyway. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) warned that if it is EJ, he may be unrecognizable.
Dr. Evans suggested skin grafts might help, but there’s no guarantee. This naturally sets up a great recast explanation down the road, but we need the proof first! Is this really EJ or someone else? Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami will fret as she waits for word. She’ll feel like this mystery patient is her last hope.
Sami had given up on EJ before this new drama went down. If Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) hadn’t made a confession, Sami probably would’ve kept moving forward. Now she’s been pulled back to the past and she doesn’t want to let go again. EJ is the love of Sami’s life, so she desperately wants him by her side.
Sami just needs evidence of EJ’s identity and they can sort out the recovery details later. She’ll hope she gets the news she’s longing for. Days of Our Lives spoilers say the results will be in next week. Sami will finally learn the truth, so what’s it going to be?
Thankfully, the DNA results will confirm that it’s indeed EJ! That makes sense considering Sami was the only name he responded to. He even uttered “Samantha” at the warehouse, so their bond remains strong. Plus, Kristen and Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) speeches lined up with this being the missing DiMera.
DOOL just wanted to keep some suspense in play, but they’ll eliminate it at last. Once Sami’s sure this is EJ, she can prepare for a future with him. Days of Our Lives spoilers say the road ahead won’t be easy. It’ll take time for EJ to get back to his old self, but Sami’s got the patience for that. With any luck, maybe EJ will return with Sami during her next Salem stint.
