The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) has some exciting developments going on her in personal life. She’s expecting a baby boy, so that’s certainly something to celebrate. B&B fans look forward to hopefully seeing some good pics once Wood’s bundle of joy arrives.
In the meantime, we have to consider what Wood’s future with The Bold and the Beautiful looks like. A baby on the way means viewers have to prepare for Wood’s maternity leave. She’ll have to be written out for a while, so how will the show choose to handle it? There are several routes they could take.
For starters, they could go with something simple. Forrester Creations has overseas divisions, so there could easily be some crisis only Steffy could handle. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) might hold down the fort in Los Angeles and trust Steffy to deal with problems in Paris or anywhere else she’s needed.
Steffy might pack up little Kelly and take off, which could create some conflict with Liam (Scott Clifton). However, Liam could easily catch a few flights here and there to see his daughter. It would only be temporary, so that’s be something they could work through.
If B&B wanted to make things really interesting, they’d have a juicy return storyline they could take advantage of. Liam could cheat with Steffy during one of his visits and start waffling as usual. It’d be a good way to bring Steffy back in the drama after her maternity leave concludes.
Then again, Steffy could cause Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam issues in another way. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Steffy will come together for Thanksgiving, but that’s typical for this holiday. B&B always gives us some heartwarming scenes. What happens after the turkey’s gone and everyone leaves the family gathering? It’s usually right back to the backstabbing and hostility!
If Steffy and Hope’s war is revived, Hope’s kid could be in danger. There’s buzz out there about Hope losing this baby or perhaps watching her new daughter die shortly after her birth. If Steffy accidentally plays a role in a crisis for Hope, she’d be racked with guilt. It might drive her to get away from LA and clear her head.
Of course, Steffy could also leave town if her feelings for Liam rev up again. The pining might become too much to bear. Steffy might choose to get away from Liam for a while and try to truly get over him. Naturally, Steffy would fail miserably!
Even a hospital stint is an option. Putting Steffy in a coma or just out of commission for a while would work. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Wood’s maternity leave will bring all kinds of interesting possibilities, so it’ll be fun to see which option B&B goes with.
