The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, February 7, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will remain on edge over the danger in her own home. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will offer plenty of reassurance before they shift gears. They’ll talk about the incriminating recording and how Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is in control of what happens next.
Meanwhile, Sharon will once again apologize to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). She’ll hate that she had to turn the recording over to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), but she felt it was her only real option. Nick won’t blame Sharon for doing her job, and he won’t think Victor will either. Y&R spoilers say Nick will insist that he’d do anything for his dad. The same goes for Sharon, so she’ll be grateful.
Sharon will bring up Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) and wonder if she’ll be brought in the loop. Nick won’t be sure how he’s going to handle that just yet. Later, Nick will talk to Victor, Nick and Nikki about the audio file. He’ll give them updates on the fact that it’s now in Rey’s hands.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will also have a meeting with Victor and the gang. He’ll point out that Victor’s trial starts tomorrow. Michael will also want to know if there’s more to the story, but Nick will insist that the recording was altered. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will push Michael to get Victor out of this mess, but Michael will want to be realistic about the proof.
Unless the Newmans can give Michael something to work with, any jury will think of the audio file as a confession. Michael will hint that some tough decisions need to be made, but Victor will shut down the idea of pleading guilty. Before he heads out, Michael will warn that this recording could hurt Nick as well.
Once Nick’s alone with his parents, Nikki will be upset over all the drama. She won’t want to sit back and let this happen. Nikki will seem pensive as she watches a warm moment between Nick and Victor. After Nick exits, Victor will promise Nikki that nobody will go down for J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) demise.
At Rey and Mia Rosales’ (Noemi Gonzalez) apartment, they’ll kiss and cuddle as they talk about the investigation. Rey will assure Mia that he’ll have more time at home once Victor’s trial wraps up. Talk will turn to the tip Sharon brought to his attention, so Mia won’t be happy. She’ll feel like Sharon is just trying to butter Rey up as usual.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will open up to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She’ll explain her latest blowup with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and how Summer Newman (Hunter King) fits into it. Abby will insist that if Kyle is the best match for Lola, he’ll be willing to wait. She’ll encourage Lola to let her heart do the talking here.
At the athletic club, Summer will spot Kyle and wonder if he patched things up with Lola. He’ll imply that his romance is still up in the air. Summer will apologize for her part in the chaos and the mood will lighten. They’ll be sharing some laughs when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) appears. She’ll confront Kyle alone and offer a stern warning.
Mariah will insist that Kyle will lose Lola forever if he keeps this up. She’ll feel like his desire for sex is driving his decisions right now. Mariah will push Kyle to be the best guy he can be for Lola or just move on. Either way, a choice needs to be made while he can still make one!
Afterward, Mariah will gripe to Sharon while Lola pines over pics of Kyle on her phone. Elsewhere, Kyle will get a text from Summer and agree to meet up for drinks. It sounds like Kyle’s about to walk straight into trouble. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news comes in.
