General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, May 17, tease that it’ll be Nurses Ball time once again. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will get the festivities underway after talking to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). There’ll be plenty of lovely ladies and dapper gents, so GH fans will be eager to see all the swanky attire.
Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will be looking especially fine as he offers someone Champagne. Maybe he’ll do a little flirting and start inching toward a love story. Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll fill Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in on his great idea. Too bad she probably won’t agree!
It appears Chase may want some help with his Nurses Ball performance. Willow won’t want to get involved, but she’ll have a change of heart next week. Once Chase puts her on the spot and flashes those pearly whites, Willow just won’t be able to say no. Sadly, this move could provoke the fury of Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
Until then, Shiloh will seem rather bored with the bash. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will check to make sure Shiloh’s still OK with this. He’ll stick around, but he won’t exactly be enthusiastic. Nevertheless, Shiloh knows the best way to grow closer to Sam is to spend time with her. That’s exactly what he’ll do by mingling a bit and chatting before the performances.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be ready for all the merriment. She’ll have Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) by her side, so that’ll be enough of a reason to celebrate. Franco also has some surprises coming up, which should leave Liz on cloud nine by the end of the evening.
Next, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will join forces with Lucy. It seems they’ll want to screw up Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Dr. Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) night together. Kevin and Ava will choose to concentrate on the task at hand. They’ll keep selling this ruse and count on Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) to make an appearance soon enough.
Ava will have reason to believe Ryan is headed back to Port Charles, so it sounds like the excitement is building. In Canada, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Laura Webber (Genie Francis) will find themselves stuck. They’ll be tied to chairs with their backs to each other, so Curtis will comment on the trouble they’re in.
On the bright side, they’re still alive. Ryan may have left them living and breathing for a reason. He might have plans to use them to his advantage later. If not, Ryan could have one more secret partner who’s not quite as ruthless. Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Laura and Curtis will put their heads together. They’ll hope to get out of this mess and prevent any more disasters back home.
As for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), they’ll discuss whether to stay or go. Sonny will wonder if Carly’s really in a Nurses Ball kind of mood tonight, but it seems they’ll stick to the plan. GH viewers can expect a big announcement from Sonny later. Will he share the baby’s gender with some dear friends and family members?
Finally, Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) will be in a state of bliss. She’ll love seeing beautiful Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and handsome Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) next to each other. Major drama’s looming for Sasha eventually, but she’ll always have tonight to look back on!
