The Young and the Restless: Tuesday, June 18 Recap – Sharon’s Fierce Warning to Adam – Mariah’s Big Project – Jack Scores a Date

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and recap for Tuesday, June 18, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have some terrible news for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). She’ll learn Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) suing for full custody of Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) and immediately battle guilt. Sharon will feel responsible since she’s the one who pushed Adam to return.

When Sharon asks what she can do to help, Nick will warn her to stay out of the crossfire. Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will try to get in touch with Adam. He’ll want his son to come by Newman Enterprises, but Adam will ignore Victor’s call.

Next, Sharon will pop over to the tack house and start ranting about the custody case. She’ll defend Christian’s bond with Nick and order Adam to stop this vindictive game. Adam will fire back that he has rights, but Sharon will think he forfeited them by tampering with the DNA test.

Sharon will suggest she can’t keep defending Adam when he acts like this. She’d rather see Adam gone if he’s going to keep hurting people. Sharon will just hope a body count doesn’t result from Adam’s mission to get everything he wants.

After Sharon stomps off, Adam will unsuccessfully try to hire Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) as his attorney. Michael will insist he’s already been hired by Nick, and there’s no changing his mind. Next, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will bring Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) up to speed on the custody situation. He’ll admit he’s worried about what’ll happen to Christian.

Back with Victor, he’ll be surprised when Nick invites him to watch Christian play T-ball. Victor, Nikki and Nick will end up having a great time with Christian at the park. Y&R fans will definitely get some sweet Newman family moments.

Over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll wonder if Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) would be willing to be his best man. Jack will happily accept the offer and give his son a hug. Later, Jack will meet a woman named Mallory, who has a parent at the same facility Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) lives in. Mallory’s father also has Alzheimer’s, so Jack will bond with her and eventually ask her out on a date.

Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will wake up startled at home. She’ll urge a sleepy Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) to grab her guitar since she’s got an idea. At Crimson Lights, Mariah will lay out her plan to show the full picture of Tessa. She’ll think listeners need more than a bio on LP’s website.

Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott) will get updates on Mariah’s idea and decide she’s on board. Kyle will pitch in by making this a Jabot Collective cross promotion, which means Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will get involved, too. Mariah will shoot a video of Tessa in familiar places like the coffeehouse, the park and her fire escape to give fans a glimpse of the real her.

Later, Tessa will have a little celebration with everyone who helped make this possible. She’ll return to her fire escape and sing one more song for Mariah. Back with Michael, he’ll have a chat with a worried Summer and reassure her that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will come home. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will interrupt when Michael tries to call Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) for any news. She’ll be curious about the call, but Michael will manage to shut her down for now.
