The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue to view Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) as the key to turning things around with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
In a recent Y&R episode Chelsea made some shocking claims. She suggests that for Adam, it’s always been Sharon. Chelsea argues that she was just a distraction and Sharon’s the woman he really wanted.
It’s true that Sharon’s been the Adam whisperer at times. There’s a certain warmth and kindness that shines through when she’s appealing to Adam – at least there was before she turned against him. However, this “it’s always been Sharon” idea is bizarre. Adam moved on from Sharon long ago and was all about Chelsea right before the cabin exploded.
A Spark Between Chadam Chelsea Newman Doesn’t Want To See
It’s possible Chelsea’s just saying whatever it takes to convince Sharon she’s the only one who can help Adam. Then again, maybe Chelsea’s just trying to convince herself.
It may be easier for Chelsea to act like Adam doesn’t really want her than to throw away the love of her life. Despite Adam’s terrible behavior, there’s probably a spark that Chelsea doesn’t want to admit.
Regardless, The Young and the Restless viewers watched as Adam fought his way back to Chelsea. When Justin Hartley was in the role, he barely even interacted with Sharon. Chelsea and Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) were Adam’s whole world – just as he wants them to be now.
Adam Newman Is A Man Who Goes After What He Wants
Part of Adam will always love Sharon, but Y&R is trying to erase years of “Chadam” history here. Besides, Adam is a man who goes after what he wants.
If he truly wanted Sharon, why wouldn’t he be focused on stealing her heart right now? The show may want us to believe Sharon is Adam’s top pick, but it’s not lining up with what we’ve seen on screen.
