Tonight on FOX their blockbuster drama Empire airs with an all-new Tuesday, November 12, 2019, episode and we have your Empire recap below. On tonight’s Empire season 6 episode 6 called, “Heart of Stone,” as per the FOX synopsis, “Candace and Carol take Cookie on a girls’ trip to Miami to have some fun and take her mind off Lucious.
After an unsettling visit with Leah, Lucious is left to deal with some inward self-reflection. Meanwhile, Andre makes a bold decision regarding Treasure’s upcoming album and Giselle goes behind Becky’s back to find Tiana a new audience.”

Tonight on Empire, Cookie is seen in the fit getting into her car and it explodes. In the present day Lucious mother is in the nursing home watching Cookie on tv vowing to be the last one laughing and seeking revenge against her since she thinks she’s the one who made Lucious have her committed, and she stabs a nurse with a knife, Lucious visits the home to smooth things over bribes the Dr with money to keep his mother there instead of releasing her due to her violent act.
Lucious sits and talks to his mother and she apologizes for the actions he threatens to send her to a worse place if she doesn’t stop. Lucious mother tells him she never believed he was evil and it’s her fault he’s so cold heart he’d and incapable of loving, she then turns around and accused him of being weak-minded clearly displaying her mental illness, Lucious hugs her and tells her it’s ok he hugs her and walks away.
Lucious goes to Cookie’s house to try to win her back over and have her come home but she refuses and stands her ground saying she’s tired of begging for what’s rightfully hers and she tells him she’s going to live her best life.
Tiana is receiving backlash and her fans are boycotting her and Becky is worried, Giselle brings Pastor Clark to try and help do damage control and invite her to perform at an event the church is having called the Hope Festival. A meeting is held to go over her contract before the performance about what she’s not allowed to wear and certain ways she’s not allowed to dance.
During Treasures album release party she looks unpleased as she feels Lucious is having her follow in Tiana’s footsteps in having the same sound. Cookie goes to tell her therapist she doesn’t need her anymore since she let go of Lucious but she tells her that the real work is just beginning on herself now.
Carol and Candace surprise cookie at home with a trip to Miami to take her mind off Lucious and Damon, she’s greeted with male strippers dressed in police uniforms who act like they were there to arrest her but break out in dance, the girls arrive in Miami on their trip. The girls go shopping and try to get Cookie to have fun and let loose.
Andre tried to figure out how to make Empire better but fears challenging his father but Teri pushes him to find a way and follow his heart. Andre calls an emergency meeting to stop the release of Treasures album stating it’s not ready and he wants to redo the album to her style and direction instead of trying to sound like Tiana’s replacement, this pisses Lucious off and he asks to speak to him privately.
Lucious is upset and says Andre made Empire looked weak and states he didn’t have the authority to stop the release of Treasures album, he reminds Andre Empire is his company as they argue, Andre asks him to just trust him and listen Lucious reluctantly agrees. Andre and Treasure head to the studio to record her own songs .
Pastor Clark drops in on Tiana’s rehearsals and gives her a direction of where they want her to go with her performance and Tiana is uncomfortable as they are asking her to repent for her actions in the past and repent for being too sexy. Tiana decides to pull out of the performance but Becky and Giselle talk her out of it saying they already paid them and it’ll help her career. Tiana begins to perform in a choir gown and suddenly takes it off to reveal a very sexy corset outfit and the Pastor, Becky and Giselle are shocked she begins trending on social media and her fans are back on her side again, Becky screams in joy.
Lucious is seen having flashbacks of him and cookie and his childhood with his mother but is interrupted by Becky ringing his doorbell, she’s looking for advice on building her music label she feels she lost her magic at her new label since she left Empire, he tells her to keep trying and not be afraid to make mistakes and learn from them and tells her to surrender to her darkness in order to see the light.
Back in Miami Cookie, Carol and Candace hit up the night clubs and meet some men there and begin to dance with them on the dance floor. Cookie begins to get dizzy and feels something isn’t right and asks the men if they drugged their drinks and one of the men says yes they put molly in the drinks, but they say they don’t want to harm the women just have a good time and they continue to dance with the men, Cookie then starts to see visions of Lucious and begins attacking one of the men she thinks is Lucious and a brawl starts in the club and the women get arrested,the girls reminisce about their childhood and break out into doing a song and cookie is reminded that music was her first love before Lucious and her sisters encourage her to get back into it.
Andre holds a meeting and Treasure performs her new music Lucious cuts her performance short and he states that he will not release the new album but will release his version instead and tells Andre if he doesn’t like his decision he can leave Empire. Andre vows to his son to break the Lyon cycle.
Yana shows up at Lucious’ home and greets him with a slap to the face.
