The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) could have a shot with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), but he’ll have to get a major obstacle out of the way first. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is still a huge hurdle to the happy life Thomas wants with Hope. Although Hope and Liam haven’t really been connecting lately, they still love each other. Their bond isn’t one that’ll be severed overnight.
However, Thomas isn’t a quitter and will inevitably hold out hope that “Lope” will end. Will he do something to sabotage Liam and Hope’s relationship? Thomas may not even have to! B&B spoilers say his presence in Hope’s life alone will cause problems. Thomas and Hope’s joint custody agreement will keep them tied to each other. They’ll have to coordinate schedules and talk constantly due to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
Of course, Douglas loves both his dad and his new mom. He’s going to want lots of family time, especially if Thomas is egging him on. Thomas may push Douglas to request Mommy and Daddy bonding. He might suggest Douglas needs to make sure Hope knows she’s his real mom now. Thomas may make Douglas believe they have to spend time just the three of them to prove it.
Naturally, Thomas can insist he just wants to do this co-parenting thing right. He’ll get Hope focused on putting Douglas first, but Liam’s agitation will inevitably bubble up. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Liam will have a nice Thanksgiving with Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez), but they’d better enjoy it! That could be their last moment of peace for a while.
Since Thomas will try to pull Hope closer through fashion projects at Forrester Creations, it could set “Lope” up for disaster. Liam may feel like Hope’s too naïve to see that Thomas is manipulating her all over again. Hope may not agree that’s what Thomas is doing. Basically, Thomas probably won’t have to do much of anything to tear Liam and Hope apart. He can just sit back and watch the destruction happen without major scheming.
