The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, January 13, teases that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will have some fun family plans. At home, Connor will hope they can all have breakfast and play cards.
After Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) suggests she needs to head to work, Connor will worry about her going back to the hotel. He’ll still be spooked over the hostage crisis.
Chelsea and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will discuss how they should tackle Connor’s fears. Adam will ask if maybe Chelsea should quit working at the Grand Phoenix. Chelsea will want to get some advice from Connor’s therapist, but she’ll feel confident they can handle anything as a team.
At Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) place, they’ll talk about Billy’s consulting job. Since he wrapped that up, Victoria will think it’s time for something more challenging.
Billy will mention how he liked having space to reflect, so Victoria will note that she was hoping he’d sort things out.
That comment will irk Billy, so Victoria will push him to reveal what’s on his mind. He’ll confess that he bailed on therapy, which will worry Victoria. Billy will think it’s better to just live his life instead of trying to analyze it.
Victoria will point out that Billy tried to run over Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but Billy will protest that he’s past all that. He’ll wish Victoria would stop trying to fix him.
Billy will admit it’s hard pretending to be the man Victoria wants him to be. It’s causing him to shut down and not open up to Victoria like he should. Victoria will seek reassurance that everything will be OK, and Billy will offer it.
They’ll embrace, but Billy will think to himself about Victoria viewing him as damaged. Billy won’t know if he really knows who he is right now, but he’ll feel good about the new path he’s on.
At the cottage, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will walk in and force Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to conceal her biopsy paperwork. When Faith notices Sharon is distracted, Sharon will take a harsh tone with her.
Sharon will apologize moments later and hug Faith, who’ll be meeting up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) soon.
Y&R spoilers say Sharon will don her coat and head to her appointment. Later, Faith will talk to Nick about the weird tension with Sharon and will confess that her mom snapped at her. While Nick’s busy with a New Hope phone call, Faith will call Sharon’s cell and leave a message.
Over with Sharon, she’ll be ready for her biopsy and will be told it’s minimally invasive. Sharon will try to focus on positive thinking. Once the biopsy’s over, Sharon will check her phone and see that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) sent a sweet text.
Sharon will also listen to Faith’s voicemail, which serves as a reminder that her daughter loves her.
Back at home, Sharon will once again hide biopsy paperwork as Nick and Faith appear. Faith will want to show off some stuff she bought while shopping, but Sharon will opt for a nap instead. She’ll leave Faith and Nick puzzled by her continued odd behavior.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll want to be honest with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). Devon will confess that he’s been obsessed with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) because she looks like Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
Amanda’s been on Devon’s mind way too often. Devon will even admit that he tried to run into Amanda around town.
Elena won’t judge Devon for what she feels is a normal, human reaction. She’ll be grateful that Devon came clean and will vow to help him. Talk will turn to Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) since Elena holds him responsible for this mess.
Devon will note that “Chance” Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) old team is following Colin’s trail. Whether Amanda was in on it or not, Devon will suggest he’s content with Elena.
At Society, Devon will find Amanda and confess to her as well. He’ll acknowledge that he’s been gunning for her because she resembles Hilary. It was more than just the will drama. After Devon apologizes, Amanda will get why this has been difficult for him.
Devon will think they can co-exist peacefully and will give Amanda a pass if she aided Colin’s scam. He’ll just want Colin’s location. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that’ll set Amanda off. She’ll declare that she wants to be done with all this before leaving in a huff. Devon won’t feel like that was a denial of guilt.
