General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some sad news to pass on about a popular GH star. Tristan Rogers, who portrays Robert Scorpio on the ABC soap and Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless, recently made a difficult announcement to his social media followers. He announced that his beloved bulldog Willie has passed away.
Tristan posted a photo of Wille along with the following tweet: “Our wonderful sweet bulldog Willie has passed away. I’m heart broken. It was the day after her birthday.”
This is heartbreaking news, and anyone who has lost a pet knows the pain involved when you have to say goodbye to a fur baby. As you might know if you follow Tristan on social media, he’s quite active on Twitter and he’s posted quite a bit about his bulldogs in the past. In addition to Willie, he has a bulldog named Ollie.
In fact, it was just a couple months ago that a fan tweeted to Tristan to tell Ollie and Willie that a bulldog had taken the non-sporting group at The National Dog Show. Tristen responded with an enthusiastic “Yeeaah.”
Some of Tristan’s fellow soap colleagues have responded to his sad tweet. Patrika Darbo (Nancy Wesley, DOOL) replied simply, “I’m so sorry.”
And Rebecca Staab (Elizabeth Barrington, Port Charles) tweeted: “I am so very sorry for your loss and heartbreak. Sweet Willie. She will always be in your heart.”
And numerous fans of Tristan’s have been replying steadily since he announced Willie’s passing. One fan said: “Tristan, so sorry to hear about your dog passing away. My condolences to you and your family. Will pray for healing.”
And another of Tristan’s followers replied: “He looks like such a sweet dog. I am sure he had a wonderful life with you and your family. So sorry for your loss.”
We send our sincerest condolences to Tristan and his family at this time. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates, and news.
