General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we’re getting closer to a long-awaited big reveal. The baby swap still hasn’t been exposed, but there’s someone who’s sure to be a crucial part of that process. Of course, we’re talking about Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). He’ll be a key player as the drama revs up in the weeks ahead.
Lucas is currently stuck in a coma at Turning Woods, but Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) spilled the truth to him just before the crash. Now that Lucas knows “Wiley Cooper-Jones” is actually Jonah Corinthos, Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) son with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), the countdown is on. We just need Lucas to wake up and divulge what he learned!
When can viewers expect Lucas to awaken? General Hospital spoilers haven’t confirmed an official airdate yet, but it’s set to happen during February sweeps. GH writers just needed Lucas to keep the secret for a while – and that’s exactly what he’s been forced to do while comatose at Turning Woods.
The good news is Lucas will wake up and get on the road to a full recovery. The bad news is the truth about “Wiley” won’t come out just yet. That’s because Lucas will battle some memory issues thanks to the crash. He suffered a brain injury due to that accident, so he won’t recall what Brad confessed to him just before it happened. Everything will be pretty foggy about the events leading up to the collision.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) will be thrilled that his son’s come back to him, but he’ll worry about what the future holds. As Lucas begins to have memory flashes relating to the night of the crash, both Julian and Brad should get nervous! General Hospital spoilers say it’s just a matter of time until the puzzle pieces come together for Lucas.
It’s also a good sign that Nelle’s out of Pentonville and stirring up “Wiley” drama. That means this storyline’s getting closer to its conclusion, which is something every GH fan can be grateful for!
