Tonight on Love and hip hop NY, tensions continue to boil over between Jonathan and Tahiry at Erica’s birthday party, most agree that she’s acting out of the ordinary, she leaves the party in anger. Erica takes accountability for her actions in trying to hook joe and Tahiry back up.
Chrissy goes to meet up with Olivia Chrissy admits she was a kill the upset with Olivia for not siding with her during the beef with Chrissy and Yandy, and over dinner, Olivia reveals her mother has passed away a year ago and she’s been trying to hold things together and now she’s back in NY to get back into music and is doing a record with Phresher, Olivia also stays that Rich has done some backstabbing things to her by taking the money from her record sales and not giving her anything, she feels betrayed she considered him a brother and like family. Olivia goes to meet with Phresher to record their song they both discuss the backstabbing Rich has done to the both of them by rich pulling Jennaske from Phresher and him stealing money from Olivia.
Yandy gets a call from Mendecee about getting a not getting release date yet and his paperwork taking long to get processed and it may be due to Yandy protesting at a prison for prison reform issues at MDC prison in Brooklyn for unfair treatment to inmates which may be the cause for the delay. Jamila who’s Ynadys business partner meet up for lunch and shows her video of dead prisoners and rodents in jail cells out in Mississippi, she asks Yandy to accompany her down there to protest but Yandy is nervous that it’ll interfere with Mendecee coming home she’s fears getting arrested as well, she is conflicted because she always wants to help and she decides to go down to Mississippi to fight for what she stands for.
Remy and papoose go visit TT tired over at Hot 97 since she’s her friend and a part of her management team, Remy is upset for getting hit with an assault charge from former casemate Brittney Taylor, being Remy just got off of parole. She’s worried about the case going to trial and her freedom being risked, papoose says to use this as inspiration for her music, TT is worried Remy won’t focus on her music due to her shutting down.
Erica and Tahiry meet up to discuss the events at her birthday party and she wants to find out what was really bothering Tahiry, Tahiry apologizes for her behavior and starts to cry she tells Erica about the unclear results from her mammogram and reveals that she’s scared and stressed about what’s going on, Erica hugs her and understands where she’s coming from and says she’ll accompany her to the breast specialist test and that she’s not alone.
It’s the day of Tahiry appointment and Erica goes with Tahiry to her appointment she reveals she and her family haven’t been seeing eye to eye and Erica is all she has right now. The doctor comes in to perform the test in the mammogram machine and they wait for the results and say she needs a biopsy was done which means further testing and this makes Tahiry burst into tears. The doctor tells her that it was a benign cyst and that everything is ok and to come back in 6 months to check again.
Remy and papoose go visit her lawyer Dawn and tells Remy the prosecutor wants her to plead instead of going to the trail but Remy refuses to say it’s ridiculous and might go back for a year which Remy says she can do since she’s done seven and Papoose is against it. Remy feels she’s a target die to her game and says judges are more harsh with sentences because of that.
Yandy is down in Mississippi without Jamila due to being in Federal parole and not getting permission to leave the state. Her organization protest and make speeches to the media about what’s going on and the inmates inhumane living conditions at the jail.
Phresher calls rich to the studio while he and Olivia work on their record and shocks Olivia, they both didn’t know each other would be there. Olivia gets into what Rich has done by taking money from two records that she didn’t get a cut from. Rich says that was his record and Olivia just sang on it so he doesn’t feel he stole from her. This upsets Olivia and she gets up and leaves rich in the studio.
