Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap star recently posted an emotional Instagram story – and it’s left DOOL fans fearful about her future in Salem. Days viewers know Camila Banus as the forever scheming and always sassy Gabi Hernandez. Love her or hate her, Gabi is a fun vixen who adds a ton of drama to the show.
Of course, Gabi also happens to be one half of the popular “Stabi” pairing with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), who’s headed back to the show this spring. Days of Our Lives fans are excited about Gabi and Stefan’s long-awaited reunion, but now there’s some sad news to pass along.
Although Banus didn’t directly mention what happened in her Instagram updates, it’s clear that she was quite upset about what went down.
“I have had a long day and an interesting day and I just want to share with anybody that wants to hear,” Banus said in her Instagram story. “…No matter what struggles you have, if people are trying to put you down…if people are trying to make things unfair…for you to have less than and for others to have more, always, always fight for what you deserve and always fight for what you believe in.”
Banus broke down in tears as the video continued. She insisted that “people are always, always gonna fight for themselves only and people are always going to make sure that they come up winning.” Banus is obviously in a situation that she feels is unfair to her and has been fighting against whatever that situation may be.
“There’s a lot of people that are never going to check up on you, but YOU check up on you and you stand up for yourself and you fight for yourself and you fight for what’s fair,” Banus said. “No matter what it is, you fight for what’s fair!”
Now it’s possible Banus was referring to something in her personal life, but this sounds more like a work issue if you ask us. It seems like Banus was asked to take a pay cut while others were not or something along those lines. Based on Banus’ passionate reaction in the video, she isn’t going to stand for it.
If this is indeed about Banus’ role on Days of Our Lives, she could potentially walk away. Banus is apparently someone who refuses to back down when she’s dissatisfied, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens.
Of course, we can hope that DOOL will see the value in a great actress like Banus. She brings so much to the table, so they really need to shell out the bucks she deserves.
