General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the ABC soap is building toward a major revelation. GH fans have been eager to find out the identity of Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) biological daughter – and it looks like the big moment’s almost here. Of course, some viewers are still on the fence about who Nina’s true daughter is, so let’s talk about some important clues.
First, we should discuss some important insider hints. Those in the know suggest that GH writers changed their minds about one storyline’s direction. That may or may not be this storyline, but it’s something to mull over. General Hospital insiders also point to serious drama resulting from this shocking daughter reveal.
Doesn’t it sound like GH was originally going with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and then pivoted to Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier)? After all, people have been speculating Willow was Nina’s bio daughter for months and months. Not only would it be predictable, there would be zero drama in it. Nina and Willow get along pretty well now, so what would really be the point?
Some General Hospital fans were a bit thrown by Willow’s reaction to Nina’s necklace. However, Willow pointed out that her own mom didn’t keep heirlooms like that. Perhaps GH writers included that scene so it would do just what it did – make many fans think Willow was indeed Nina’s long-lost daughter. It could be a simple case of misdirection to preserve the surprise.
We also have to consider the timing of Willow’s comment. She noticed the necklace the day before a special episode, which will highlight Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) complicated history with Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier). Remember when Nina showed Carly the necklace in her office? That had to be significant. The necklace will probably come into play in Carly and Nelle’s history.
Since we know a massive secret will unravel through flashbacks on April 8, Nelle certainly seems to be Nina’s biological child. Let’s put it this way. They cast Willa Rose to play Young Nelle in these scenes. There’s not a Young Willow anywhere in sight!
If Willow was going to be revealed as Nina’s bio daughter, wouldn’t she be getting a big episode that ties in with the past? That’s not what’s happening. Nelle’s getting that honor along with Carly.
Speaking of Carly, she may play a crucial role in delaying when Nina discovers her flesh and blood. How long has Carly known about this connection and how long will she be able to keep it under wraps?
Before the week’s over, General Hospital spoilers say Nina will get closer to the truth. Meanwhile, Carly will prove she knows how to get things done. Will Carly prevent Nina from learning who her bio daughter is – at least for right now?
