The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will face a bombshell that changes everything. Y&R fans know Adam’s been gloating like crazy ever since he got the upper hand on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Unfortunately, Adam doesn’t know the whole story, which means he’s being set up for a huge fall.
Victor let Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in on the secret of what happened in Kansas all those years ago. Nikki ultimately understood why Victor made the choices he’s made in handling Adam. Did Adam himself kill AJ Montalvo when he was just a boy? Adam might’ve been traumatized enough to block out the memory.
As for why Victor hasn’t spilled the shocker already, perhaps Victor promised Hope Wilson (Beth Toussaint) he wouldn’t. That would explain why Victor’s still protecting Adam, even when Adam’s acting so smug and outrageous.
Plus, Adam’s actions can’t change Victor’s love for him. Victor doesn’t agree with what his son’s doing, but he may still worry about how this secret would affect Adam.
Adam’s been going on and on about Victor being a murderer, but the murderer may be Adam himself! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor’s secret will shake things up for the Newman clan.
There are hints about this scandal going public, which could lead to major drama for Adam. If Adam’s Vegas secret also comes back to bite him, that could mean double murder trouble!
What will Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) reaction be to all this? The Young and the Restless viewers will recall how scared Chelsea was to reunite with Adam. She couldn’t bear the thought of losing Adam again, so it was tough for Chelsea to reopen her heart.
Nevertheless, Chelsea can’t help it if she loves Adam and all his many flaws. Chelsea has plenty of flaws as well, so they’re a great match. Adam and Chelsea accept each other in a way that none of their other love interests have been able to. They have an unbreakable bond, which is why Chelsea may propose drastic action.
Chelsea might revert to that panicked state of mind and want to preserve their shot at happiness. She definitely won’t want Adam to go to prison, especially since it’d mean Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) would lose his dad again.
Will Chelsea suggest reviving their dream of living in Paris? Will she want to pack their bags and run while they still can?
Adam and Chelsea considered a Paris move in February, but Connor was finally getting in his Genoa City groove. Since Connor was a bit overwhelmed during their trip, they opted to leave Connor settled in GC where he was happy.
However, the circumstances are about to change. Chelsea may fear their family will be separated by Adam’s prison stint if they don’t escape to Paris immediately.
If Chelsea suspects Paris would be too obvious as a hideout, any other city will do. Chelsea would just want to be certain their family stays intact. That doesn’t mean Adam will go for the idea of running from his problems and from who he is.
Victor may show Adam his own true colors in a way, so Adam may insist on facing his punishment.
