General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) life could be in danger. GH fans know Sasha’s devastated over losing Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Michael thinks Sasha betrayed him with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), so that’s adding to Sasha’s sorrow. It’s all part of a plan to make sure Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) wed, but this is still brutal for Sasha.
Now that Sasha’s pushed Michael away, she’s realizing just how much she loved him. General Hospital has already given some hints about the dark path ahead. For starters, Chase offered Sasha wine in the immediate aftermath of “affair” blowup. On a separate occasion, Sasha visited Chase and went looking for something strong to drink.
There are certainly some warning signs about Sasha becoming an alcoholic. That lines up with General Hospital spoilers for May sweeps, which insist Sasha will develop unhealthy coping mechanisms. Of course, GH writers may not stop with booze binging. Let’s consider another crucial clue from a new weekly preview video.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will end up giving Sasha a hard punch in the boxing ring, so that’ll leave Sasha with a nose injury. Sasha will hold an ice pack on it later, but we have to ask…what’s the point of all this? Could Sasha take some pain medication in the aftermath? If so, you can see how that could lead to real trouble!
So we’ve got heartbroken Sasha, who’s already reaching for strong liquor. Throw some drugs in the mix and that’s a recipe for disaster. Could Sasha be at risk of overdosing? That’d be a horrifying twist for Michael to deal with.
It looks like Chase is going to interrupt the wedding and offer himself as an alternate groom. Of course, that means Chase will have to explain what really happened. Even if Chase is stopped before he can clear everything up, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) knows the truth. Carly might be in the position to spill all if Sasha turns up at GH after the nuptials.
Will Sasha overdose while Michael and Willow’s ceremony plays out? General Hospital spoilers point to Sasha handling the drama in a very different way, and that would definitely be different that Chase’s wedding interruption!
It’s easy to imagine Michael still in his tux by dying Sasha’s bedside – begging his former flame to pull through. Regardless, Sasha’s headed for a disaster of some sort. Michael will ultimately learn about Sasha’s sacrifice, so that’ll leave him heartbroken as well.
