Chuck is in therapy, he says from a comforter, he mentions his best friend, from protector, Alan Alda, from fiction, Dexter. He describes a recent moment when he felt betrayed, 911. Axel Rod was being arrested and his wife was there. The way they clung to each other, he felt rage, sadness, and jealousy.
Wendy is trying to find herself an apartment and finds out that her assets are frozen.
Chuck is getting crypto yanked from him to the Manhattan DA by the governor. Chuck tells him that the people of NY state elected him because they trusted him. Chuck believes that Axe is behind this move.
Meanwhile, Axe is with Taylor and Mike, he tells Taylor they are all there for their missions. They are at the Mike, Axe is welcomed.
Wendy meets with her lawyer, he tells her that by the time they get to court, she will already lose the apartment. She says she needs to make herself feel better, he tells her to go to court. An allocator for the educations show up, Wendy calls Axe and Mike, Axe tells her that losing Ontario Educates will hurt them. Wendy goes back to see the woman from OE and tries to help her.
Chuck is being tortured with ice water over his face while he has a mask on his face, he is trying to build a case for himself.
Wendy tells Lauren that she wants her to meet with the allocator, Lauren says she will meet with her the next day after they come to the office. Sara tries to get involved and tells Wendy there is the protocol while Axe is away.
Meanwhile, at Mike Spence’s conference, Axe says that he has been singled out, you are either in Sun Valley or it doesn’t exist. Mike asks what if the rest of them are not like that. Mike says nobody makes money while they are there. Axe disagrees, everyone in the room makes money while they sleep. Axe says that Miles’ whole respite is from guilt. The two go back and forth for minutes. Axe tells Mike that he is nothing special, he was lifted up. And, he respects everyone in the room. Mike tells Axe that he was born white and male, the roads were paved for him. Axe says sure the roads were paved, but he didn’t even have a car. He admits to being a monster, it was success or oblivion for him. Mike says maybe he is right, but he must be one of the cuddly ones from Monsters Inc. Mike asks Axe if he cares to join him and prove that giving back comes from your own two hands.
Later, Mike and Axe have drinks, Axe gets up and speaks to a blond in the bar, walks away from her.
Chuck is in his office, Oscar comes in and tells him that he really wants to feel the power of the seat, make him more. He asks Chuck what is his driver. Chuck says he has to serve the best of him right now. Oscar says he can help him if he is in a position to. Chuck says they will keep their appointment with the senator and keep this all to the test.
Wendy meets with Sara and asks her what does she do. Her whole career she has tried to live her career by Jim Bakers’ words. Wendy says she can help her, but she should be asking Taylor.
Mike had a late night, he goes to see Axe, tells him that he failed the Chris Rock test. Her stage name was Brandy, but her name was Mandy, his sweet little Mandy. He says he got her out of there and shipped her off to a facility.
Chuck meets with the senator and the judge, she asks the judge if he wrote the memo, he says yes. She says she has to keep her standards high and is kissing her sweet butt goodbye.
Chuck goes back to his office, the senator is there and she says she will keep the memo buried.
Axe is at the conference packing boxes. Meanwhile, Oscar tells Taylor that he doesn’t want his money with Axe.
Wendy calls Axe and tells him that she is going to have to stay in the apartment longer than she thought.
Bill is freaking out when he finds out his amount went down 10%. He says he needed this. Bill was almost back at his desk when it hit him, winning, is when he smells a liar when he sees one.
Chuck admits he leaked the memo.
Mike Spence announces to his attendees that he has a special treat for them, a menu by a renowned chef. Axe and Mike try to leave, then Mike welcomes Long River. Mr. Long River is going to share some wisdom with them after dinner. Axe goes to see Mike and tells him that he stole his shaman. Axe tells him the game is not over buddy boy, not by a county mile.
Chuck tells Taylor that there will come a time when she will have to come after Axe for her own survival and she will need him.
