Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some tense moments are coming up along with some wonderful ones. During the week of May 25-29, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) will take a blow to the head after granting John Black (Drake Hogestyn) his freedom. Although Orpheus will plan to flee with David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) and the money, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will stop him in his tracks.
Orpheus will lose consciousness briefly, but he’ll awaken and wind up in the police interrogation room later. That’s where Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will corner Orpheus after stealing a gun from the evidence bag.
Justin will plan to kill Orpheus, but Steve will insist he can do it. He won’t want Justin pulling the trigger, so he’ll promise to do the deed himself if Justin will just hand over the gun.
Once Justin gives up his weapon, Steve will go back on his word and let Orpheus live. Justin will be furious, but the whole experience will lead him to do some soul-searching. He’ll end up sitting in the cemetery by Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) grave, where Justin will seek Adrienne’s blessing on a proposal to Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans).
Meanwhile, let’s talk about a couple other proposals. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will pop the question to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) before it’s Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) turn.
Once Lani Price (Sal Stowers) agrees to be Eli’s wife, she’ll look at the calendar and realize she’s “late.” It’ll lead to a pregnancy test later that confirms Lani’s indeed got a bun in the oven.
Lani will worry since her baby boy died the last time around. Although Eli will be over the moon about this pregnancy, Lani will battle some serious fears. She won’t know if she can go through the pain of losing another child, so she’ll have to talk to Eli and see if she can work through the pain of the past.
Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will also have babies on the brain. Days spoilers say Will and Sonny will decide to move forward with adding a child to their family.
It won’t be long until Will tells Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about their baby plans, so she’ll be thrilled for her grandson and his hubby.
Over with Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi), it’ll be time for her to bid farewell to her family in Salem. Abigail has to get to the clinic in Florida, so she’ll say her goodbyes and head on her way.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will head down with Abigail and get her settled, but he’ll return to Salem soon for Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) trial. It’ll be important to Chad, who wants Gabi to be brought to justice.
Of course, Gabi was framed and that means there’s more to the story. There’s also more to Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) story, so he’ll make a confession to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) during the week of June 1-5. Days spoilers say Jake will confess and give Ben the scoop on these thugs and why they’re after him.
Ben will also learn how Jake’s ex-girlfriend, Gwen (Emily O’Brien), could put an end to the nightmare, so he’ll think he could help Jake find her. Over with Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan), she’ll push Marlena to sign off on her freedom sooner than planned.
Afterward, Claire will have a chat with her new pal – a fellow patient named Gwen! It’s obviously the woman Jake used to date, so Claire’s link to Gwen is intriguing. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will confide in her Bayview bestie, so we’ll see what she shares.
Back with Jake, he’ll panic over Gabi’s abduction. Ben and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will find out about the kidnapping crisis and wonder what Jake’s plan is.
Across town, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will blast Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) for his role in the baby swap. Victor caused plenty of pain and destruction along with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), so Sarah will really let Victor have it!
Next, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will throw her support behind Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) at the custody battle. Despite a dangerous situation at Orpheus’ hideout, it seems Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) will take a page out of the family playbook and wiggle out of trouble.
Zoey will apparently still be a David custody contender, so Rafe will need Hope’s backup in the court battle ahead.
As for Steve, DOOL spoilers say he’ll get drunk and wallow in his own misery. Steve will want to fight for Kayla, but her engagement to Justin will leave him wondering if that’s the right call.
Back with Lani, she’ll struggle to shake her pregnancy fears. It’ll be tough for Lani to move forward with this pregnancy, but maybe Eli’s support can help her as time goes on.
