Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, June 29, tease that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will remind Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) that she could be arrested if she’s caught back in Salem. Although Lani was stunned and overjoyed to see Kristen, it won’t take Lani long to realize this could end in disaster.
Kristen will explain how much Lani means to her and suggest the risk was worth it. Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) are getting married, so Kristen wanted to come back and be there for her closest pal.
Days spoilers say Kristen will hand over a present and perhaps offer her thoughts on love. Lani may acknowledge that Kristen’s hurting without Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) – and Brady’s hurting, too!
Lani might even mention that Brady recently tried to get Kristen off the hook. However, Kristen and Lani will ultimately circle back around to a happy moment. This is a day to celebrate Lani and Eli’s great love for each other. Of course, some special guests will be part of Lani and Eli’s upcoming nuptials.
DOOL viewers already saw Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams), who showed up to make Lani breakfast and gab for a bit. On Monday, Valerie will drop a bomb on Eli, which will probably relate to her love life. Days spoilers say Valerie and Eli’s former FBI mentor, Billy (Billy Davis Jr.), are romantically involved.
Billy is someone Eli admires and cares about, but Eli will still have to wrap his head around the news that Billy’s apparently dating Valerie. Valerie and Billy will share a kiss, so that might be how Eli discovers their new connection. Once Eli gets used to the idea, he’ll undoubtedly give Valerie and Billy his full support.
As for Lani’s mom, Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo), she’ll catch up with some familiar faces. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tamara will sit down for a chat with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), who’ll also take a moment to pull Eli aside and wish him well.
Back with Tamara, she’ll enjoy catching up with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) as well as Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Everyone will be buzzing around getting ready for Lani and Eli to tie the knot, but the rest of the day won’t go smoothly.
At some point during all the festivities, Tamara will faint – and that’s just the start of a wedding that’ll head downhill fast!
Next, let’s discuss Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). Gabi just confronted Gwen (Emily O’Brien), who’s got her “nasty paws” on the man Gabi believes is her husband, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Although Gabi hasn’t seen the DNA test results yet, she’ll remain fully convinced that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is actually Stefan.
Days spoilers suggest the results will back Gabi up later in the week, but she really needs to get over to the courthouse right now. Gabi’s verdict is in, so she has to learn her fate. Since Gabi will waltz in the “Elani” wedding eventually, it sounds like jury has found her “not guilty.”
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady will be feeling awfully blue without Kristen and Rachel DiMera Black. After Brady opens up to Marlena about missing his family, she’ll offer comfort and hope Brady can find a way to cope.
Over with Kristen again, she’ll nearly get busted at Lani’s apartment! Abe will show up to see Lani briefly, so Kristen will be forced to make a quick getaway.
Brady will eventually be out somewhere alone when he senses that Kristen’s there with him. As Kristen’s trying to dash off, Brady will push his love to turn around. That sounds like a nice cliffhanger for Monday’s episode, which should set up Brady and Kristen’s kiss on Tuesday.
