General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some great stuff’s coming up. During the week of July 27-31, GH will re-air the final five episodes before the shutdown. General Hospital fans can catch up just in time to watch the thrilling new episodes that’ll follow.
At Charlie’s Pub, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) leaves Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) concerned about his next moves. Once Robert gets stuck on the idea that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) may be alive, Anna assumes he’ll risk everything to pursue it. Robert’s not going to stop without a corpse in Anna’s opinion.
In order to pull herself together for a photoshoot, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) takes a vial of drugs and seemingly kicks off a horrible habit. Meanwhile, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanie) makes quite an entrance in the courtroom.
In her wedding dress, Nelle holds up her new ring. She’s sorry for her late arrival, but there’s an incredible reason: Nelle has a new husband.
Nelle introduces Julian Jerome (William deVry), so the judge looks over the paperwork to confirm the marriage is legit. Later, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) warns Julian to get an annulment, but Julian doesn’t follow orders.
As for Nelle, she defends her new marriage during a conversation with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Nina assumes blackmail was involved, but Nelle insists they made a deal.
Once court’s back in session, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) defends his own new marriage on the stand. Although Michael isn’t IN love with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), he does love his wife.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Willow, Julia and Nelle all take their turns on the stand before it’s Nina’s turn. Nina nervously swears to tell the truth as a delighted Nelle looks on.
Over with Sasha again, she’s hesitant to accept another drug vial from Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) production assistant. However, Sasha’s pressured to take it in case she needs another boost. Next, Maxie almost has a fainting spell and has no appetite. A calendar check leaves Maxie thinking she might be pregnant.
During the week of August 3-7, General Hospital spoilers say the ABC soap is coming back with NEW episodes. The wait is almost over, so here’s what GH viewers can expect. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) lands in a situation she finds unsettling. An encounter leaves Portia quite uncomfortable, so this may tie in with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Across town, Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) knowledge of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) scheme presents a problem. As Brook Lynn makes a beeline for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Valentin has to work fast. He rushes to strategize and save his ELQ takeover plan.
That leads to Valentin meeting with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who may be able to help Valentin out of his jam. Valentin delivers a proposition that he hopes will be mutually beneficial. In court, Nelle finds herself rattled over Nina’s testimony. It looks like Nelle’s friend becomes a foe – at least in Nelle’s eyes.
Nina chooses honesty just as she promised, but the truth could hurt Nelle’s shot at scoring custody of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). Perhaps Nina’s going to admit she’s not completely confident in Nelle’s ability to be a good mother.
Nina may feel guilty for potentially robbing Nelle of her second chance, but Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is proud of her in upcoming new episodes. Afterward, Nelle blows her top and most likely confronts Nina about her betrayal on the stand.
Michael and Willow’s connection strengthens, which is great since they’ll have to stand against Nelle soon enough. Livid Nelle demands to see Wiley, so Willow and Michael have to tackle more of her drama.
As for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’s in distress when Carly finds him. Carly consoles Sonny, who wrestles with knowing what’s right and what’s wrong.
It sounds like Sonny’s still going to be upset over Mike Corbin (Max Gail) in new GH episodes. Over with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he serves as a confidant to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).
As for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), he takes a meeting with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). That could cause serious problems if Brando’s linked to Cyrus and has been playing Sonny.
Meanwhile, someone Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) considers an old friend surprises her. There’s also some bonding going on between Portia and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) since they both have daughters to talk about.
Elsewhere, Carly and Sam mull over how they’re facing a similar predicament, so that could involve some danger for Sonny and Jason.
When Peter August (Wes Ramsey) lands on the hot seat for the umpteenth time, it’s Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who defends him. That same day, Maxie deals with some second thoughts. It’s possible Maxie will contemplate spilling the baby news to Peter before backing out for now.
