Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will ultimately get some infuriating news. Days fans know Allie made the tough decision to leave her baby behind, but she feels confident the kid’s in good hands. Allie made her wishes crystal clear in the letter she wrote.
As Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) pointed out, Allie put some real thought into this. She spelled out all the reasons she believes Eric and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will be wonderful parents to her child.
Of course, Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) not having it. Since Sami’s about to get a restraining order against “Ericole” and take custody of the baby herself, that’s certainly not what Allie wanted!
Luckily, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) can serve as Allie’s link to Salem. Before Allie left, Claire offered support along with all the cash she had on her. Claire also covered for Allie, so DOOL established a nice little partnership here.
Since Claire made Allie promise to call once she’s settled, Allie should indeed get in touch sooner or later. You can bet Allie will be livid when she realizes Sami banned Eric and Nicole from the baby.
Allie shouldn’t be surprised since this is how Sami operates, but this definitely changes the game. Will Allie realize she has to go back and shut down Sami’s plans?
Allie doesn’t want Sami to raise her son, so it sounds like she’ll have to intervene. Sami’s going to do whatever she pleases unless Allie comes back around to battle it out.
Fortunately, we know Allie hasn’t left the show and still has plenty more scenes in her future. Allie’s decision to run away is just meant to cause more drama – and it’s definitely accomplishing that since Sami’s taking over again.
However, what Sami really wants is for Allie to raise this baby herself. Sami’s probably going to get her wish since that seems to be the only way Allie will really have any control. Allie feels a deep bond with her son anyway, so Days spoilers say she may stop fighting this eventually.
For now, Allie will likely get updates from Claire and start seething. It may not be long until Allie comes storming back to Salem to confront Sami about ignoring her wishes…AGAIN!
