Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will head back to Salem following her recovery at her treatment facility in Florida. Abigail’s hallucinations should be under control, but she still won’t have answers about who drugged her or why.
That’ll be a mystery for Abigail to tackle with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), but they may have to tackle some marriage issues, too.
Once Abigail returns, she’ll undoubtedly be weirded out over Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) – who’s become a new DiMera mansion dweller. Days spoilers say Abigail may be suspicious and annoyed at first, but Gwen will try to get on Abby’s good side.
Perhaps Gwen will explain that her interest in Chad was merely about making Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) jealous.
Since Chad will back Gwen up on that, Abigail will try to trust her husband. Of course, Abby may also make it clear that Chad’s off-limits – just in case anything changes when it comes to Gwen’s feelings. Gwen will probably suggest that’s understood and hope they can move forward with a clean slate.
Abigail’s a big believer in second chances – particularly Marci Miller’s version of Abby, which is arguably a softer version than Kate Mansi’s. The writing tends to shift depending on who’s playing Abigail – and this time, it’s Miller.
It should serve as an interesting change of pace and make it more believable when Abigail’s perhaps a bit too trusting.
Just how trusting, you ask? Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will make Gwen her new nanny! Although Abigail will want to spend plenty of time with her kids upon returning, she may also want to get back to her career and focus on her marriage.
There’s also the matter of keeping up with Abigail’s doctor visits and making sure her recovery stays on track.
It’ll be a lot for Abigail to juggle, so Gwen may pipe up about being great with kids. Is that true? Who knows! It’s at least the story Gwen will sell, so she’ll wind up taking care of Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera.
Gwen will also become a “friend” to Abigail, but something tells us she won’t keep that title for long!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will be quite interested in sticking around the DiMera mansion – and her reasons involve more than just Jake.
