General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Dustin Phillips’ (Mark Lawson) relationship will deepen in the coming weeks. From Lulu’s perspective, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is gone and may never come back. Lulu was willing to wait for Dante, but he pushed for a divorce and urged her to let go.
That’s exactly what Lulu did with Dustin’s help, so now she’s in another happy, committed relationship. Dustin’s basically been the perfect boyfriend – and Lulu’s kids like him, too.
GH fans will remember how Dustin played the hero after Scarlett Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) jumped off the docks. Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan) even asked Dustin to attend “Bring Your Dad to Work Day” at school.
It’s clear that Dustin’s serving as a great fill-in father, but the real thing will be back in town soon! What happens once Dante returns to Port Charles? General Hospital spoilers say Dante has some crushing blows in his future – and one of them may be a huge change in Lulu’s relationship status.
Since we know Lulu and Dustin will get more serious before Dante shows back up, that certainly sounds like an engagement’s brewing. Dustin may put a ring on it and convince Lulu to spend the rest of her life with him. Lulu may agree to a wedding and happily start planning it.
Although it’ll be tough to close the door on Dante like this, Lulu may feel it’s the right call under the circumstances. Again, as far as Lulu knows, Dante may never come home! Of course, Lulu’s in for a shock when Dante indeed resurfaces and reenters her life. That’ll leave Lulu with a tough decision to make.

Lulu was devastated when Dante pushed her away, so she may not want to get her heart broken again. Dustin represents the easy, safe choice – and that means Lulu may choose him for a while.
However, GH viewers know Dante and Lulu had an incredibly strong bond. Lulu can’t just throw that away and marry Dustin. She cares about Dustin a great deal, but Dante is Lulu’s true love. General Hospital spoilers suggest a “Lante” reunion will happen eventually, but there are definitely more obstacles to conquer first.
