General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview for the week of September 8-11 teases that Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) storyline is gearing up for an emotional conclusion. Of course, we should note that Mike’s final days should actually come a bit later.
The drama in GH’s latest promo will spill over into the week of September 14-18, so General Hospital’s taking their time and making sure this is a proper goodbye.
Let’s talk about the new preview video, which features Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) pointing out that Mike’s Alzheimer’s is progressing. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) can be seen visiting Mike at Turning Woods, where Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) assures Mike that they love him so much.
This family’s really rallying around Mike as he gets ready for the inevitable end of his fight.
GH’s promo ends with Sonny promising, “I don’t know how long it’s going to be, Dad, but I’m going to be right here with you.” This preview video is all about the Corinthos clan preparing for the end, so Mike’s demise is coming up fast. It’ll be difficult to let go along with Sonny, but you can bet the next two weeks will bring some incredible performances.
On September 10, General Hospital spoilers say Mike’s condition will deteriorate quickly. Josslyn will make it over to Mike’s facility by September 11, so that’ll give her some sweet moments with Mike before he goes. Even though Mike should be mostly unresponsive, it’ll mean a lot for Joss to have this time with hm.
On September 15, Sonny will struggle as Mike’s death draws near. This experience will leave Sonny looking for support from Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel), who’ll certainly provide it. Anything that’ll help Sonny cope will be a good thing as Mike’s death looms.
That same day, some tough news will reach Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) all the way in Geneva. Even though Dante can’t be there in person for his family right now, his heart should be with them. Dante will likely receive updates that let him know Sonny will be grieving Mike soon enough.
September 16 brings General Hospital spoilers that are all Mike-centric – seemingly signaling Mike’s final episode. That’s when Sonny will imagine an alternate reality where Mike never got this devastating diagnosis. Stella will be on hand to comfort Sonny and anyone else in the Corinthos family who needs it.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will also receive word from Carly, so she should be keeping Jason in the loop on Mike’s death drawing closer. Speaking of closer, that’s what Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will get – no doubt due to this Mike crisis.
There’s also a spoiler about Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) bonding with Joss on September 16, so this day’s all about the people closest to Mike making peace with his passing.
