General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one ABC soap star’s speaking out after receiving some rude comments. GH fans recently welcomed Kelly Thiebaud back to the role of Britt Westbourne, but some viewers couldn’t get past Thiebaud’s new haircut.
It led to some hurtful messages on Twitter, so Thiebaud decided to address the issue and hopefully steer the conversation elsewhere.
“Hey everyone- yes i have bangs Yes they were cut too short and yes they don’t look the best,” Thiebaud said. “So please save your nasty tweets. Thanks.” Of course, there were plenty of GH fans who defended Thiebaud and offered praise over her latest look.
“I thought your hair looked great! It’s nice to change things up,” one viewer tweeted. “I didn’t mind them. Are people really giving you a hard time? That’s a bit ridiculous,” said another. “I was just so happy to see you back, no attention paid to hair. LOL,” one more fan chimed in.
Thiebaud was grateful for that response and echoed it in a follow-up tweet. “So many other important things to discuss besides my hair. Thanks for the welcome back! Looking forward to entertaining y’all as The Britch,” Thiebaud said.
Thiebaud’s right since Britt’s return has already made major waves at GH. This General Hospital comeback has added some fun to the show at the perfect time. Things have been pretty heavy lately between Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) sudden death and now Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) inevitable one.
Characters like Britt add some levity and stir up some great trouble in Port Charles, so many of us are glad to see “The Britch” back in action. Now that Britt has accepted the position as GH’s chief of staff, she’ll be interacting with much of the cast and shaking things up.
You can bet Britt will have a few tricks up her sleeve as usual, so we’ll look forward to more surprises.
