The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 16, tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will let her walls down with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
On Tuesday, Amanda reveals the DNA evidence that confirms she’s Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin sister. That means it’ll be time for Amanda and Devon to discuss this bombshell on Wednesday’s episode.
Devon will be pretty overwhelmed by the news, but Y&R fans know he tends to put others first. You can bet Devon will ask how Amanda’s feeling after receiving these shocking results. Devon will try to put his own feelings aside so he can help Amanda work through her own.
Amanda will be overwhelmed as well, but she’ll try to express where her head’s at. It’ll undoubtedly be tough for Amanda to know she had a sister she’ll never meet – a twin she might’ve had a real connection with if given the chance.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will grill Devon about what Hilary was like. Now that Amanda knows Hilary was her twin sister, she’ll want to know all the details of Hilary’s life.
However, Amanda won’t quite grasp how difficult this is for Devon. A lot of strong emotions will be stirred up, so Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will take issue with pushy Amanda later this week.
In the meantime, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will prepare for battle. After spotting Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) with Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) on Tuesday, Chelsea will reconvene with Adam on Wednesday and offer updates. Y&R fans can expect Chelsea to remain firmly in Adam’s corner.
Chelsea will vow to help Adam get revenge on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for destroying his life, but she’ll think Billy has to be dealt with first. Adam and Chelsea will team up on a plan to thwart Billy’s scheme, so Chelsea will put it in motion soon.
Phase one will involve flirting with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) so she can worm her way into the Chancellor Communications office.
The goal here will be planting a listening device, which will keep Chelsea and Adam in the loop on Billy’s plans. However, no plan is foolproof on soaps! The Young and the Restless viewers can definitely expect some snags along the way.
Over with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), she’ll discover a new clue about Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) history. Will this help Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) figure out the true message Dina was trying to send him?
Traci will certainly work hard to give her family closure in the coming weeks – and Wednesday’s hint could be a step in the right direction.
