General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, September 17, tease that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will be brimming with confidence. Olivia assured Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) she could keep a low profile, but that plan certainly didn’t pan out.
Instead, Olivia put on an impressive performance in front of Winston Rudge (David S. Lee), who’s part owner at the casino in Monte Carlo.
On Thursday, Olivia will tell Robert that “Rudge ain’t gonna know what hit his little casino.” Of course, a declaration like that may leave Robert concerned about what kind of stunt Olivia might pull next!
Robert’s trying to scope the place out and see what he can learn that might lead him to Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), who made a call that was traced to this location. It’ll be interesting to see if Olivia botches things or manages to help more than Robert thought she would in the end.
Back in Port Charles, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will catch up with Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy), who’ll be sorry about Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) overdose death. Diane will be concerned about how Alexis is coping, so Alexis will assume Diane thinks she’s going to relapse and drink again.
Although Alexis was tempted to take a drink recently, she’s resolved to take this one day at a time. Alexis seems to be handling Neil’s passing pretty well all things considered. It’s not like Alexis is completely falling apart, so she may assure Diane that she’ll stay sober.
Alexis will also cross paths with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who’ll offer some assistance. Speaking of assistance, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will offer some, too.
Thursday’s GH preview video shows Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) standing outside with Ava Cassadine (Maura West) in their robes. Nikolas insists he’d like to help if that’s all right with Avery’s mother.
Ava looks touched as they all stand outside, so maybe Avery dropped a stuffed animal that needs to be searched for or something along those lines. Whatever the case, Nikolas will be kind to Avery – and that’s sure to warm Ava’s heart.
Ava and Nikolas should also still be thinking about their recent passion explosion, so this marriage is on the road to becoming much more than a sham.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will have a question for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane). Thursday’s preview clip shows Chase asking, “And what does that look like exactly?”
Brook Lynn doesn’t look all that certain, so maybe this is about what her life’s going to look like now that a singing career’s off the table.
This might also involve how Brook Lynn intends to stand on her own two feet, which is a decision Ned isn’t too happy about. Ned feels like Brook Lynn needs her family, but she’s taking a more independent approach to her recovery – and she’s not interested in patching things up.
At Turning Woods, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be gathered with Mike’s loved ones in the lobby. “Your dad knows what he’s talking about,” Jason says in Thursday’s preview clip.
Jason may be reassuring Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who turns toward him – or he might be addressing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about some sign from Mike Corbin (Max Gail).
When GH left off on Wednesday, Mike was just barely hanging on. He’s ready to die any minute now, but he might mutter something significant to Sonny before he goes.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) won’t understand, but she won’t think she has to. This is about Mike and whatever he needs to cross over to the other side.
“I know you,” a bright-eyed Mike declares in Thursday’s preview video. Mike gazes up with a smile, so maybe Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis) or even Adela Corinthos could appear to him as he passes on. As for Sonny, he’ll get a surprising gift that might involve closure.
Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be hopeful about her latest lead. Nina seems to have figured out who Phyllis Caulfield is, so now it becomes a matter of tracking Phyllis down.
If Phyllis is deceased, her next of kin might have to do. Regardless, Nina will remain hopeful about discovering the identity of her long-lost child.
