The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will do everything she can to cover up her addiction to painkillers, especially now that she’s got illegal ones from Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero).
However, Steffy’s increasingly erratic behavior will prove troubling to those closest to her. Steffy will keep sinking further and further into this dark addiction hole, so it’ll become painfully obvious that she needs help to climb out.
After Liam discovers Steffy conked out on pain pills, there’ll be a heated confrontation. We’ll also see Steffy spin out and hurl some wild accusations.
Liam and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will be accused of kidnapping Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Kelly Spencer) – and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will pick up on some behavior that’s out of the norm, too.
Steffy just won’t be herself, so Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will be deeply concerned for her. This is all building to an intervention, which Ridge, Liam and Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will all stage together. They’ll hope that by tackling this as a team, they can make Steffy see that she has a problem.
This intervention’s obviously going to be hard on all of them, but Ridge’s heart will break most of all since that’s his daughter. The bond between a loving parent and child is a special one, so Ridge may feel like he let Steffy down.
Ridge will probably feel like he was wrapped up in his own issues thanks to this Vegas wedding and all his outrage over Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will give Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) crushing news during the week of September 28-October 2.
With Steffy’s world crashing down and this intervention happening in the same week, it’s tough to imagine Ridge would be very focused on this frivolous formal wedding to Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards).
That probably means Ridge’s crushing news will be about Steffy, not the new nuptials or anything about Shauna. Of course, Brooke will get that Ridge is torn up about all this. Ridge will really be devastated over what Steffy’s going though, so will Brooke use this as a chance to make progress with him?
Ridge may feel vulnerable enough to accept Brooke’s comfort. In fact, Brooke’s presence alone should be a comfort since she’s been such a huge part of Ridge’s life.
Brooke’s been a constant and will be able to offer Ridge some stability in this moment, even if their relationship has been far from stable lately.
B&B spoilers say Brooke will want to be the one Ridge leans on – and it sounds like he’ll indeed lean on her. Naturally, that’ll only make Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) more determined to scheme and push Ridge back in Shauna’s direction!
Quinn won’t give up so easily, so stay tuned to see how she might combat the potential progress Brooke makes with Ridge.
