The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some big moments are ahead. During the week of September 21-25, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will make their engagement official by getting down on one knee together. After popping the mutual question and trading rings, Summer and Kyle will be on cloud nine.
Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), on the other hand, will be devastated when she spots “Skyle” just before their double proposal. Between that and all Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) flirting lately, it’ll leave Lola in a dark place. Lola will dump Theo, so he’ll lash out and wish her luck finding someone who’s good enough.
Next, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get a lot more than she bargained for when she asks Summer for some mother-daughter time. Summer will happily join Phyllis at The Grand Phoenix, where the girls will gab and have some fun. Unfortunately, the mood will shift when Summer knocks her purse over.
Summer will have to lean down to clean up the spill, so that’ll lead to Phyllis’ shocking discovery. The chain on Summer’s neck will reveal her shiny new bling, so Phyllis will immediately freak.
When Phyllis asks if that’s what she thinks it is, Summer will admit it’s indeed an engagement ring.
Y&R spoilers say Summer will justify her decision, but Phyllis will think this is pure stupidity. Kyle isn’t even legally divorced yet! Nevertheless, Phyllis won’t want to alienate her daughter, so she’ll accept that she may have to grin and bear it.
Next, Summer will have to break the engagement news to Nick, so Phyllis will serve as backup. As you can imagine, this conversation won’t go well. Nick will fly into a rage and push Phyllis to stand against the engagement with him.
That’ll leave Phyllis in a tight spot, so she’ll do her best to promote peace between Nick and Summer.
After Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) helps Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) look for answers in her past, Billy will get some answers of his own. There’ll be a new lead on some incriminating evidence regarding Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Billy will make a beeline for Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) suite only to find she’s mysteriously cleared out.
It won’t be long until Billy corners Adam and insists he must’ve had something to do with Alyssa’s disappearance. Adam will deny knowing where Alyssa is and won’t appreciate the allegations Billy’s trying to push at Chance Comm. According to Adam, Billy will just be making up vengeful lies.
To prove Billy’s got something substantial, he’ll drop a huge hint about AJ Montalvo’s fate. Adam will realize Billy’s dangerous and needs to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
The week ahead will also bring a faceoff between Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as well as the next phase of Adam’s plan with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Over with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), he’ll get grilled by Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Victoria will want details on Chance’s bond with Adam and how they got so close in Vegas.
Chance will surely stonewall Victoria, but he’ll still be rattled. Thankfully, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will offer plenty of support later.
During the week of September 28-October 2, Abby will take things a step further by mulling over her future with Chance. They’ll have a discussion about what might happen down the road, so Chance and Abby may consider the idea of marriage and a family one day.
Naturally, Chance will want to put all this Vegas drama behind him first!
As for Victor, he’ll have some harsh words for Billy. Victor has eyes and ears everywhere, so he may call Billy out over this story that’s cooking. Billy won’t care whether Victor approves or not, so the expose will move forward.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say a surprising duo will get steamy. With Lola out of the way, could Theo land in bed with Victoria? Y&R’s been offering some clues that it might be coming, so we’ll see if some Victoria and Theo passion might be on the horizon.
Across town, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will make a startling discovery that involves Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) past. This is likely tied to that antique emerald necklace Dina was wearing in the home movie.
Traci may be able to figure out exactly why that necklace meant so much to Dina. From there, Traci will just have to figure out where it went!
Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) second surgery is also scheduled for the week of September 28-October 2 – at least according to Sharon’s “next week” comment in the September 21 episode. Of course, soap time often moves slower than real time, so we’ll see exactly when this surgery goes down.
We’ll give you the latest details as more updates emerge. The Young and the Restless spoilers say the next two weeks will be packed with action. CDL’s where you want to be for sizzling Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so drop by frequently.
