General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we need to talk about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who passed Dr. Kirk’s (Christopher Cousins) test – but just barely! Dante flew off the handle when he learned the offer for his early release had been rescinded. It left Dante seething when he discovered Dr. Kirk was responsible, but Dante calmed down and refused to hurt the doc in the end.
That’s when Dr. Kirk revealed that it was all a test and showed off the camera Dante was being watched on. The WSB had to be sure that Dante wouldn’t harm anyone he wasn’t supposed to, but did this test he passed really prove he wouldn’t?
All this test really proved was that Dante wouldn’t harm the doctor that he’s bonded with – the man who’s shown Dante kindness and tried to help him.
If Dante would come that close to harming his own doctor, that says a lot about his dangerous mental state. Dr. Kirk is already going against his own instincts on this. He doesn’t believe Dante’s ready, but he’s following orders and has accepted this is how it has to be. However, Dr. Kirk has warned that Dante’s likely to snap since he’s so close to the edge.
What happens if someone else infuriates Dante – someone who’s an actual threat to his friends and family members? GH fans know Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is masquerading as a good guy, but he’s done some pretty terrible things. Dante’s mission may be unrelated to Peter, but Peter could still find himself becoming a target.
When Peter accompanied Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to see Dante at a WSB facility back in 2019, Dante wrestled a gun away from a guard and shot Peter. Although Dante’s doing better these days, his behavior has proven that he’s just seconds away from snapping and making risky decisions.
Dante worked with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and considered him a close friend. As a result, Dante’s bound to feel an obligation to watch out for Maxie upon his return – especially if he senses Peter’s keeping dark secrets.
Could Peter’s life be in grave danger once Dante’s back in Port Charles? Dante has shot Peter before and he could do it again! General Hospital spoilers say Dante’s capable of anything in this volatile state, so Peter should probably watch his back. As other GH news comes in, we’ll offer updates.
