General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, September 28, teases that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will have a pre-homecoming freak-out. Joss will decide to get dressed at Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) place, so Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be glad to get in on the fun.
Unfortunately, Josslyn will seem out of sorts and will worry she’s never going to get ready in time.
Nina will notice that Josslyn seems off, so Joss will admit she’s on an emotional seesaw. One minute Josslyn’s sad about Mike Corbin (Max Gail) and the next she’s relieved about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).
Nina will get confused and wonder if there’s been news about Nelle. When Nina asks if Nelle’s been captured, Joss will realize nobody’s given Jax and Nina updates.
Before Joss has a chance to say anything more, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will show up at the door. They’ll be welcomed in as the homecoming prep continues, but Joss will quickly nudge Carly to fill Nina and Jax in.
General Hospital spoilers say the news of Nelle’s death will continue to spread, so we’ll get to see more reactions. Jax will be glad Nelle’s gone, but concerns should be in the back of his mind.
The goal now is just keeping Carly’s hands clean, which won’t be easy since they covered up the cliff fall. Carly is innocent, but it won’t look that way if that cover-up comes to light.
As for Nina, she might be relieved on some level for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) sake. That could spark some guilt down the road since Nelle was Nina’s biological child.
If any part of Nina views Nelle’s death as a good thing, she should hate herself for even thinking it once their connection comes to light.
Still, it’d be more in character for Nina to get choked up. Despite Nina’s issues with Nelle, she cared about her more than anyone else in Port Charles did. Nina may have stabbed Nelle in the back, but she still saw some of herself in her former employee.
Since Nina’s betrayal drove Nelle to kidnap Wiley, Nina might even hold herself partially responsible for Nelle’s fate.
Whatever the case, Nina will have a lot to process – and so will Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). At Dante’s treatment facility in Switzerland, he’ll think the mission he’s offered is almost laughable. It may involve a target that Dante doesn’t view as a threat or perhaps a job so impossible that he can’t even take it seriously.
While Dante interrogates Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) and anyone else who might have answers, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will hear about Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) Geneva trip. Olivia will explain how she tried to visit Dante and got shot down, so Lulu may offer sympathy.
Over with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), he’ll confront another Port Charles resident in hopes of securing something he wants. General Hospital spoilers say Julian will mull over an offer on Monday, but it should be more of a demand if it’s coming from Cyrus. Even so, perhaps this could be a good opportunity for Julian.
At GH, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) will show up following a vicious attack. General Hospital spoilers say Martin will have some injuries and will remain shaken up over this mugging incident. Who will be behind Martin’s painful ordeal?
It’s possible Julian will work out a deal with Cyrus – maybe even Charlie’s Pub in exchange for that sealed letter! Cyrus’ henchmen might be to blame for Martin’s suffering as part of a plot for Julian, but we’ll just have to see how it all plays out.
After Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) arrives at GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will seem on edge over the questions somebody’s been asking.
Portia will voice her fears over another female character’s curiosity, so she may warn Curtis about Stella Henry (Vernee Watson). The less Stella stirs the pot, the better off everyone will be when it comes to Cyrus.
Across town, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will cross paths with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), so that’ll be a tense encounter as usual. Robert will ask if Peter missed him, but he’ll realize he’s about the last person Peter wants to see!
At The Floating Rib, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will wiggle out of getting arrested. Although Ned punched Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) should be able to deescalate the situation.
Valentin will leave, but Ned will find himself back at the bar – with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) this time.
Alexis asked the bartender for a double vodka, but will she actually drink it? Ned will definitely up his own alcohol consumption as he chats with Alexis about the good old days.
Alexis and Ned were engaged years ago, so they may talk about their former romance. Since Ned and Alexis are both having a rough time, taking a walk down memory lane could distract them a bit.
After Ned toasts to the past, Alexis will have to make a decision on whether she’ll remain sober or not! General Hospital spoilers say Alexis’ life should stay messy for a while, but let’s hope she can find a healthy way forward.
