Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that two sides of the story will be presented. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will tell her own unsettling version of what happened in London the night Henry was conceived.
Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will help Allie after her Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) run-in, so Allie will be able to bring some buried memories to the surface.
Although Allie won’t recall everything that once, she’ll eventually remember enough to know she wants justice. Allie will accuse Tripp of rape and decide to get the cops involved. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will open up to Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and perhaps wonder what she should do next.
Of course, the incident happened in London, so Allie may have to talk to the authorities over there if she wants to proceed. Things will be made even more complicated through Tripp’s version of events, which he’ll fill Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) in on.
Tripp may admit he took drunk Allie back to her apartment, but did he stick around to rape Allie once she blacked out? We’ll have to see exactly what Tripp thinks happened, but it does sound like he’ll tell Steve a more innocent version of events. Tripp’s certainly not going to confess to rape whether he did it or not.
Regardless, a DNA test needs to happen. If Tripp is indeed Henry’s father, that’ll bring Allie a step closer to backing up her rape claims. DNA proof won’t confirm that it was a nonconsensual encounter, but it’d least be a good start in getting to the bottom of this.
Since Allie will be so convinced the baby is Tripp’s, she may be in for a shock. At the end of August, Lindsay Arnold told Dishin’ Days she still didn’t know who the father was.
That means when Arnold wrapped her last DOOL scenes before the shutdown back in March, she wasn’t sure. Arnold suggested she thought she knew, but more scripts came and left her uncertain.
If Allie wants to press charges against Tripp, that means she’s pretty darn sure! So if Allie feels certain and Arnold is uncertain, that seemingly means a twist has to be coming.
Arnold must’ve filmed something else (since filming restarted at the start of September) that will change the story – and it could be a paternity test bombshell. Perhaps Allie will be thrown for a loop when the DNA results prove Tripp isn’t Henry’s father after all.
Drunk Allie clearly had a nonconsensual encounter that resulted in a pregnancy, but Tripp may have simply helped her home and left. There might’ve been someone who followed Allie back to her place and took advantage of her – perhaps even someone who drugged her drink to set this in motion.
