Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will reel when Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) tracks him down and insists she needs him to come down to the station.
Tripp will wonder what this is all about, so Lani will admit Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) is accusing him of rape. That news will come as a total shock to Tripp, who won’t understand Allie’s allegations at all.
Based on what Lucas Adams confirmed to Soap Opera Digest, Tripp is indeed innocent. It’s possible the story could change later, but at this point Tripp truly has no idea what Allie’s talking about and didn’t touch her at all in London.
There’s no possible way Tripp could be the father of Allie’s baby because he didn’t sleep with her – consensual or otherwise.
Days spoilers say Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will leap into action and recruit Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) to be Tripp’s lawyer. While Tripp’s drowning in confusion and questions, Justin will show up to intervene. The less Tripp says, the better off he’ll be – at least until Justin can get a good grip on the situation.
Like everyone else involved in this DOOL story, even Justin may have his doubts about Tripp’s side of the story. Justin will undoubtedly push Tripp to level with him and admit whether he really did this or not. However, Tripp will stand by his account of what happened and deny any wrongdoing.
Justin will make sure Tripp’s free to go for now, so Tripp will march over to Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment to ask Allie what her deal is. Tripp will want to know why Allie’s claiming he fathered her child when he merely took her home.
Allie will think Tripp’s lying, but he’ll think she must be mistaking him for someone else.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will put a stop to this argument and most likely kick Tripp out. From a legal standpoint, it’s a terrible idea for Tripp to be confronting Allie like this.
Of course, Nicole’s concern will be for Allie and what she’s gone through. Nicole may lash out at Tripp for adding to Allie’s trauma and push him to leave.
From there, Allie may have to face the possibility that her drunken memory has betrayed her. There should be a DNA test for Henry Horton soon, so that should be the first step in seeking the facts of the case. We’ll provide updates as other Days news comes in.
