The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Monday, October 26, reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) yelled at the mannequin at Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) apartment, telling the mannequin that it’s not real.
The mannequin sat silently, and Thomas said to himself, “What am I doing?” Thomas decided to clear his head and the mannequin said, “Thomas, wait.” Thomas then freaked out, getting agitated about what was happening to him.
In the Forrester CEO office, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) talked with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), who wondered if Zende had seen Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) this morning.
Hope wanted Zoe there for an important meeting, but she ultimately decided to start the meeting with just Zende. Zende and Hope were discussing changes to a design sketch when Thomas arrived, saying that the Zende needed to add a curve to the neckline.
Thomas stared at Hope, comparing her to the mannequin, and Hope asked if something was wrong. Thomas covered, then he said that he wanted to talk with Hope privately.
Zende took off to work on the neckline, and Thomas again urged Hope to allow him to work on the Hope For The Future line. Hope refused, saying that she liked how the team was gelling together now, and she didn’t want to add another person.
Thomas said that he reserved the right to try to change Hope’s mind, and again he found himself staring at Hope and comparing her to the mannequin. Hope said that something seemed to be off with Thomas, and Thomas said that he was just tired and hadn’t slept well for the past couple of nights.
Thomas went to leave, and he heard the mannequin voice tell him not to go. Thomas asked if Hope had said something, but Hope said no. Thomas reeled.
At Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) loft, Carter and Zoe enjoyed their morning after having spent the night together. Both Carter and Zoe were happy, and Carter again broached the idea of Zoe moving in with him, saying that he wanted her there all the time.
Zoe politely declined, saying that she was in a good place right now and didn’t want to move things along too quickly, in the same way that she rushed things with Thomas.
Later, Zende was working in the Forrester design office when Zoe arrived for work. Zoe learned that she missed a meeting with Hope, and Zende said that he was just thinking about her.
It wasn’t long before Zende got an alert on his phone and he saw that his message to Zoe the night before was never delivered. Zoe wondered what was wrong, and Zende said it was just a “missed opportunity.”
Zoe then told Zende that she and Carter have been dating for a while now, but that she’s cautious and that’s why she hasn’t moved in with Carter. “Have you changed your mind?” Zende asked.
Zoe said no, but that she and Carter had taken one step closer. “I spent the night,” Zoe said. Zende looked disappointed.
At Spencer Publications, Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) visited with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), and it wasn’t long before the topic of their moms came up.
Neither Wyatt nor Flo could believe what Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) did, but Wyatt noted that elaborate schemes are what gives his mother life.
Wyatt lamented that Shauna was collateral damage, but Flo said that Shauna owned her part in the whole thing.
Suddenly, Quinn walked in and blasted Wyatt for giving her the silent treatment lately. Wyatt grumped at Quinn, saying that she had been doing so well. Wyatt said that he thought that Quinn’s marriage to Eric Forrester (John McCook) had made her more gentle and not so scheming.
Quinn said that she wasn’t scheming for herself, and Wyatt rolled his eyes.
Wyatt and Quinn continued to bicker, and Wyatt noted that Quinn’s marriage to Eric had been solid, yet she couldn’t keep from meddling in other people’s lives.
Quinn admitted that her intentions weren’t entirely pure, noting that she wanted Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) out of the picture. “And how’s that working out for you?” Wyatt fumed.
